Cris37 indicates he won’t vote for Rubio again no matter what Rubio does.

The 60 vote requirement is a lie put out there to keep us focused elsewhere. As Mark Levin pointed out yesterday, Mitch McConnell has said that he will let it come to a vote without a vote on cloture. As a result, the requirement is only 51. This is a set-up.

Rubio has seen his political life flash before his eyes.
But no one should forget how he tried to flim-flam us.

Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio indicated that he would not support the Gang of Eight immigration bill he had helped author unless it is changed.
Earlier in the day, Rubio had said that immigration reform was still short of the 60 votes it needs to pass the Senate.
Let’s hope this remains true on both counts.

Looks like the intense pressure coming at him from every bastion of the conservative right is having the desired effect....but too little backing-off too late.

His polling must be taking a hit. I even noticed Rand Paul is saying the same thing now. Ha, they are so political which I know one can't assume there is no politics ever involved in these politicians’ decisions but sometimes, it takes the people to guide them. Rubio has been a let down. We here in our TP were expecting him to be more independent from the establishment. Why? Working on reforms to shrink the government.

We've got a new reason (excuse) the US Senators can use to change their mind and vote against the bill. With Susan Rice who got on national TV and LIED about Benghazi or is SO STUPID she didn't do her own research in charge of national security, how can we trust this administration to even try to enforce the border security aspects. Heck, with Susan Rice in there they'll just lie and say they are!
Time to put the pressure on every fake-conservative Republican and every dem up for election in 2014.
I say give Rubio some room to repent. He'll have to disown Shumer and join Cruz in putting down McCain though.

Let's hope this is true.
If so, Rubio is still toast. He did this way too long. The bill is one more democrat disaster if it passes, that he joined in on the sham is shameful.

Looks as if nobody actually wants this bill. Rubio’s talking it down from the (ahem) right, and various Dems from the Lenin-Left. Empty posturing for all?
To: Perdogg
Rubio has been deceived by himself.

Rubio helped make this bill and voted for it in committee. Then he says
he will vote against it? Sounds like Kerry’s I voted for it before I voted
against it shuffle.
Rubio is finished as a Presidential Candidate.

Rubio has been for amnesty from day 1. He toned his pro illegal stance somewhat when he saw the backlash from conservatives.
