I was somewhat sympathetic to these people before, but this disinclines me to think the child should be returned to them.

I agree and that is why I was sympathetic to these people before. People believe all kind of crazy things and who really is to judge.

In 1996 or so I remember that when muzzies in FULL ARAB REGALIA (pizza hut head-dress, flowing robes, sandals, long-beard) went to gun-shows in California and fully loaded up wagon pallets of ammo, NO ONE SAID ANYTHING.
Even before 9-11 it was really a sight, and I’m not particularly anti-Arab but the really amazing thing is that I was one of very few people raising their eyebrows about it at all.
Most people didn’t give the tiniest sign of noticing as Arafat and his little tribe loaded up, prepping up for Jihad in California.
Over decades people are being brow-beaten into accepting ANYTHING as ok and rejecting all parts of their national past. As long as people don’t make verbal statements that “give others the creeps” then whatever they do and however they look is fine.
WHY THE SHOCK OVER THIS...? I don’t get it.
The new sin is criticizing a group of which you are not a part, and since I doubt any of us are nazis, well, what’s the problem here?
This is a PATTERN people need to UNDERSTAND.

That is an East German border guard or army uniform, with something that might be a tank assault or wound badge (picture too blurry to be sure). The eagle would be on the breast for army or arm for SS/political; this moron needed both.
