I knew a long time ago that it would come down to ammo. Many people own guns already. Choke off the ammo and might as well use their guns as clubs.

I wonder how high this will go before it is declared unconstitutional?

The right to bear armaments implies that they are operational. A rifle with no bullets, or no lead, or no firing pin or no barrel, or no gun powder, or no trigger is not an arm.

I see a brisk market in ammo buying by CA residents visiting Nevada and Oregon.

Sounds like a good business opportunity for the black market

Progressives/Communists have to pretend that so many lies are the truth in order to enslave the White Devil that they hate so much.

The have to pretend that bringing a plastic picnic knife to school to cut an apple is the same thing as bringing a 6" switchblade to school to stab a rival gang member.

They have to pretend that a person who owned guns since the age of twelve for hunting and personal protection and never used one to harm another human being in their entire life is the same thing as a gang-banger owning guns who only uses them for drive-by shootings, robberies and carjackings.

They have to pretend that law-abiding citizens who purchase moderate quantities of ammo every year for target practice is the same thing as hardened convict who only needs one box of ammo in his entire criminal career.

But we're the ones who are "gun nuts."

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Despite our having an active military, the principle ramains solid, that an armed populace is at once ready to repel an invading force.  It also provides for a populace that is capable of defending itself from domestic threats.

So lets take a look at the limitations on our inalienable rights given to us by our Creator.

Amendment limitations

Amendment 01: 0
Amendment 02: 227 (a fictitious number, but still representative of the problem) (What other amendments have such a littany of laws limiting citizen's ability to claim a right to the promise of that amendment?)
Amendment 03: 0
Amendment 04: 0
Amendment 05: 0
Amendment 06: 0
Amendment 07: 0
Amendment 08: 0
Amendment 09: 0
Amendment 10: 0
Amendment 11: 0
Amendment 12: 0
Amendment 13: 0
Amendment 14: 0
Amendment 15: 0
Amendment 16: 0
Amendment 17: 0
Amendment 18: 0
Amendment 19: 0
Amendment 20: 0
Amendment 21: 0
Amendment 22: 0
Amendment 23: 0
Amendment 24: 0
Amendment 25: 0
Amendment 26: 0
Amendment 27: 0

Hmmm, once again, the Left has shown itself to be incapable of being a trusted even-handed protecter of our rights.

The vote was 22-14, with a few Democrats joining the Republican minority in opposition.

Democrats love to take away our individual rights.

Democrats run California. soon the whole US

Those who want to impose unconstitutional laws need to start by first changing the Constitution. As long as our Constitution is the law of our land there needs to be immediate removal from public office for any who fail to uphold it in its full form.

When a peace officer refuses to enforce an unconstitutional act, the peace officer is not breaking the law, but upholding the law.”

the 1886 Supreme Court decision Norton v. Shelby County: “An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties, affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed.”

the 1803 case of Marbury v. Madison: “All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void.”

These [gun-control measures] are not laws, they are unconstitutional acts. You have the authority and duty to nullify this.”

I’m not leaving but if I had to I’d support the gangs before telling the government how much ammo I’m buying. This could be big business in south LA.

How come the government can pay for my 12 year old’s abortion without telling me, under the “privacy” interpretation of the constitution, but they also get to know about each bullet I purchase and what health treatment?

This is the kind of legislation that screams out for a black market. Ammo ‘smuggled’ in from out of state will be cheaper and without the invasion of privacy. This law’s ‘loophole’ will be gun clubs buying out-of-state in bulk for their members.

With a 90 Year Old Father and an 89 Year Old Blind Aunt to take care of, I won’t be able to leave for some time.

Looks like all us Conservatives will be doing is ceding ground to the Commies, State by State. It happened to my Brother in Colorado, and the Rats have their sites set on turning Texas Blue.

Drip - drip - drip, it’s the Commie way. They are a patient bunch of Traitorous Bastards and the Useful Idiots follow right along.

So thinking about supply and demand.... if most everyone in california quits buying ammo (because the government forces them too)..... then I guess there would be more supply and it would be cheaper in places like Oklahoma?

There is a side of me that says abandon CA.

Just move away. Get the hell out of Dodge.

There is another side of me that says, defend the Republic - even if you are in the minority.

The last thing I want to see is a bunch of pussies from CA moving into other states that are not willing to stand up for their rights. It just makes other states weak and the union weaker.

If the good folks from CA can't stand up to the fags, liberals, baby killers and gun grabbers then what can you expect when they move to your state. Support Patriots in CA, if there are any. (We know where JimRob stands.)

And to think, back in 1982 the voters of Cali turned down Proposition 15 which would have banned handguns in California.

Since that time the politicians have been working overtime trying to find a way around the will of the voters.

I have read that Cali is also going to make ALL semi-auto rifles with detachable magazines ILLEGAL in the state. This includes those with the “bullet button” type of magazine.

Soon the only firearm that a person will be able to use for protection will be a matchlock muzzle loader.

$50 to vote.

$50 to protest in the streets.

The gloves need to come off with these a-holes. Time to stop playing nice and to start taxing things they supposedly love.
