A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Despite our having an active military, the principle ramains solid, that an armed populace is at once ready to repel an invading force.  It also provides for a populace that is capable of defending itself from domestic threats.

So lets take a look at the limitations on our inalienable rights given to us by our Creator.
