Adam Levine had a few un-patriotic words after America voted off his contestants, Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons, from "The Voice" on Tuesday night.
The Maroon 5 musician muttered "I hate this country" after two of his strong singers got the boot, but America opted to save his third country singer Amber Carrington.

Who in God’s name is Adam Levine and why should I give a rat’s hindquarters what he thinks about my homeland?
Oh Lord. He was frustrated. Big woop! He said he hates the country. You said the same thing in November 2008 and November 2012. Did the liberals tell you to go to Somalia? Give the dang guy a brake.
I agree...BTW, I felt the same way when BS won a second term. He doesnt hate the USA, he hates (or really dislikes) the people that make up the country who voted his singers off the show:o)
No talent ass clown?? Are you kidding? This guy is an AMAZING singer... every bit as good (or better) as Collins.. and, I'm a Genesis fan from WAYYY back.
It was a regrettable statement... I'm sure he wishes he could take it back. But, c'mon... it was said at a moment when "America" had just voted off two of his best performers..... the comment was directed at the process, and the voters.. not the country.
I've watched most of the shows this year and last. Adam and Blake are both terrific.
He insulted everyone equally!
LOL! I take it you know more about the person that I do!
I heard a cover of “In the Air Tonight” on the radio this morning, by a popular hard rock band. Maybe “Five Finger Death Punch.” It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t have that clean sound of Genesis arrangements.
I always see Sonny Crockett driving his beautiful Ferarri through the strangely empty night streets of Miami when I hear Phil Collins.
It’s the whole “Twitter attention span” phenomenon.
Dude has made $$$ singing like a sissy....and now hates America?
Love Danielle. That kid is adorable and so naturally gifted. Hope she gets signed by a label even if she doesn’t win it.

Levine, whose brother openly identifies as gay, is an outspoken supporter of same-sex marriage and LGBT rights.
In 2011, he made a video on Maroon 5’s official YouTube account in support of the It Gets Better Project.
In January 2012, he announced that Maroon 5 had changed the location of their post-Grammy Awards show because of the “unnamed Los Angeles restaurant’s backing of Proposition 8”.
In 2013, Levine was mentioned in a hostile work environment lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by an unnamed security guard who claimed that Universal Music Publishing Groups Santa Monica location were “infiltrated with pervasive drug use where you could smell marijuana seeping from various offices and openly used in common areas, and lounges.” The African-American female guard claimed that when she complained about the weed smoke coming from one of the studios, she was told that “it’s Adam Levine. You know from Maroon 5 ... He can do whatever he wants ... If he wants to come to the lobby and do a line of cocaine on the floor, it’s OK
I remember the RedEye guys having fun with this loser.

You're right - it was just an off-the-cuff reactive remark that has been totally blown out of proportion. The "country" had just decimated this team of 3 down to only 1 left, so he said he "hated" the general stated source of his team's destruction ("this country"). Kind of like when a friend or family member does or says something annoying, and some people might respond with "I hate you" in an instinctive, not-really-serious manner.
This being said, Sarah needed to go. Despite the potential you could hear in her voice, she always mangled every song to sound like some sort of deviant Alanis Morissette knock-off with hideous runs, trail-offs, mumblings and "stylish" on-purpose off-key notes in an attempt to sound "progressive." Despite the obvious potential, most of her performance were horrible from a singing standpoint.
Judith should have stuck around longer for sure, but frankly her performance the night before was not very good - all dancing/performing and very little melodic singing. Bad song choice. The "Voice" is supposed to be a singing competition after all, not a dancing & performance gimmick competition.

The Maroon 5 singer, never afraid to speak his mind, sent out a tweet on Wednesday aimed at the news network.
“Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil f*cking channel ever again. Thank you,” the singer wrote, though he gave no context for the tweet; previously, he pointed out that Kelsey Grammer and Chelsea Handlers’ names sounded alike and notified fans that he was listening to early 90s hip hop on his way to Valencia.
Levine is an advocate for gay rights, and previously ripped Fox’s “American Idol” for suppressing the sexuality of its gay contestants. He is a judge on NBC’s “The Voice,” a rival of “American Idol.”
Back in August, Levine tweeted obscenities at MTV, criticizing them for only featuring music during the VMAs.

Adam Levine is fighting back at Fox News — in under 140 characters.
The Maroon 5 singer launched a war of words with the conservative news network after it used one of his band’s songs.
“Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil f—king channel ever again. Thank you,” Levine, 32, tweeted on Wednesday.
Almost immediately, Fox News anchors retaliated in defense of their employer — and in language just as foul.
“Dear Adam Levine, don’t make crappy f—king music again. Thank you,” host Andy Levy wrote in response.
“Redeye” host Greg Gutfeld also joined in the dogpile on Levine with immature, and somewhat nonsensical, jokes.
“Why did Maroon 5 cross the road?” he asked on Twitter. “Because crappy music is legal there!”
Gutfeld then retweeted some of the “Voice” judge’s posts to reflect his strange obsession with the band being “crap.”
After Levine tweeted, “Names that sound alike: @kelseygrammer and @chelseahandler,” Gutfeld responded with, “names that sound alike: Maroon 5 and crap.”
It didn’t end there for the two Fox anchors.
Levy came on Gutfeld’s show, where the men went mercilessly railed on Maroon 5’s music.
“Ew,” said Gutfeld at the mere mention of the band’s name.
Then they went ahead and played their hit song, “Sunday Morning,” which went to No. 4 on the Billboard charts in 2004 — to which Gutfeld made more pained faces.
“I know what that is Andy,” he said. “It’s crap. If you go to iTunes and search under the category called ‘crap,’ that comes up!”
Levine has yet to respond to Levy or Gutfeld’s Twitter taunts.
