Starting in the fall of 2010, ten leading Democrats - including Max Baucus, Chuck Schumer, and Al Franken - wrote the IRS demanding that the agency crack down on conservative groups.
500 conservative and Christian groups were illegally targeted by the Obama IRS starting in 2010. For twenty-seven months the Obama IRS refused to approve any Tea Party applications for tax-exempt status while at the same time the Obama IRS approved dozens of progressive applications.
Now these same top Democrats are feigning outrage.

Drag them in front of the House Committee and get them to testify about their conspiracy to violate the Hatch Act.

10 Democrats? How many of them have Republican Governors who can replace them with Republican senators?
I see a palace coup brewing.

Exactly, the IRS works for liberals and they did NOTHING without the demands from the liberals. (there are a number of RINOs that are liberal) The enemy is within!!!!! Oh Americans the three legged stool of conservatism holds the fabric of this nation together... ‘law and order’, NOT this get your brother IF he/she is conservative. No taxation/mandates without representation, since our founding.

and that is why Obama made this rambling speech, he has to get these investigations off the headlines.
He knows damn well the house won’t closed Gitmo and have them come here and so he looks for the straw man again.
Now the headlines will be about Gitmo and not him taking peoples rights away and targeting them

The IRS lackeys and muckety-mucks alike were probably told that any letter from such a (dem) legislator could be "taken to the bank" as a promise that they would not be prosecuted for any crimes related to such illegal targeting.

I worked in a government agency in the late 70's. Even then liberals were in charge, and IF a republican asked for an accounting the walls around the agency went up. These agencies are reelection tools for liberals. Generally speaking republicans are 'law and order'!!!!

Baucus has really turned out to be a bastard. And now he is running for the exits.
To: Laissez-faire capitalist
That’s the thing: everyone wants to know if Obama told them to do it, but several Democrat Senators actually put it in writing.
Those Senators need to testify. Questions should be asked.
This really involves the entire Democrat party.

Is Sherrod Brown on that list?

I have a relative that's a mid-level IRS manager. I can sometimes tell when a quasi- official anti-republican message comes through, as he spouts a leftist, probably union-inspired party line as if to be seen and heard--as if it'll put him up for promotion or keep him in some doghouse, depending on how his boss(es) see him align himself (or not--but he aligns with the union, for certain).

Unionism is a religion, and that is the entity that hands out the blessings to majority. There is a draw to liberal minded peoples to work for US. Why like I have heard from some on the state welfare they got rights. Never mind somebody else is paying the bill.
