I'm not the finger pointer accuser who refuses to answer a simple question to back up his words - which demonstrates a lack of credibility. So what could I possibly be mad about? Let's see how thing plays out. But I believe Issa has Ms. Lerner exactly where he wants her: trapped in the web of her own arrogance.
Issa will bring this bitch in and she will be put under oath. Then she will refuse to answer anything he or the committee asks and the media will rush to air the talking points they're fed from little barry soetoro's asshats which will focus upon the trap set for Scooter Libby by making him answer questions which answers were then twisted to convict him 'unfairly'. Issa is as big a fool as he can be. In the words of that imminent philospher, Bugs Bunny, "Whatta maroon!"

When she pleaded the fifth, after singing a statement, then stating at the hearing that she did nothing wrong/illegal, the committee should not have allowed her to leave until every memeber with a question or two asked her and the record would have a long list of questions posed to her which could then be placed alongside the specious claim that she did nothing worng. remember, with the liberal mind the charges/queries are more important than the truth. we should have posed the charges in the form of questions she would then plead the fifth over!
Obviously, they DID anticipate the possibility. And were ready for it.
Having waived her right to hide behind the 5A, she now has two alternatives: testify...or go to jail. A choice that may well lead to her attorney negotiating immunity...and she spilling her guts.
“And were ready for it.” Um, no. Issa was completely taken aback and allowed the woman to skate from the hearing, with the moemntary pasue caused By Rep. Gowdy objecting to turning her loose without questioning. Now, they are supposedly calling her back, but they lost the first day initiative and the media will never allow them to get it back.
He won the day. Yes there will be more battles, but for today, Lerner --and Obama-- lost.
More importantly, what, specifically, did WE THE PEOPLE win?
Whenever Obama loses, we the people win.

As of yesterday (your today), thanks to Issa, Lerner had her one-sided testimony proclaiming innocence; Obama and the ‘rats had *their* talking point neatly encapsulated in her opening speech, ready for distribution on the state-run media; and we the people got NOT ONE DAMN THING. No answers, no blow against the progressive evil that is Lois Lerner. None!
If it hadn’t been for Gowdy raising the question, Issa would have let her walk, never to return, never to force her to deny specifics.
You’re enjoying a cheap republican-party wet dream if you think Darryl Issa comported himself well yesterday vis a vis Lerner. He screwed up, big time. If he keeps going the way he has in the past, he’ll notch another mushy defeat on this critical issue, as he has on one hundred percent of everything he’s tackled so far.
