MAIDUGURI, Nigeria (Reuters) - Nigerian warplanes struck militant camps in the northeast on Friday in a major push against an Islamist insurgency, drawing a sharp warning from the United States to respect human rights and not harm civilians.

This should not be a surprise US reaction, given the following quote from page 261 of the paperback edition of The Audicity of Hope, written by a Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

Barry Benghazi sides with Boko Haram over the legitimate government of Nigeria. Barry's State Department refuses to label Boko Haram a "terrorist" organization. And I guess they don't regard this, committed by Boko Haram, as a "human rights violation."
