Brad Pitt wishes a "long and healthy life" for his fiancée Angelina Jolie.

The Hollywood actress made the decision after genetic tests revealed she had an 87 per cent chance of developing breast cancer and a 50 per cent chance of ovarian cancer.

Brad, 49, today hailed Angelina for showing such bravery during the process.

"Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie's choice, as well as so many others like her, absolutely heroic," he told British newspaper The London Evening Standard. "I thank our medical team for their care and focus. All I want for is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children. This is a happy day for our family."

If you do a search on the internet you will find stories about local breast cancer survivors applauding Jolie.

So Jolie waits to see if she is fortunate to be in the 10% that doesn’t get the cancer.

oops..she is not so fortunate..and then...

it could happen like this:

LOL. Salt of the dog?

Its interesting when posters seek a goal of behaviour modification as opposed to debate.

Lara Cropped is a prime example of self mutilation perfromed by the left on themselves in faux heroic extreme gestures.

I wonder if having voted for Obama, whether in years to come, dear Lara will amputate her voting hand and replace it with a smart prosthesis that knows all about politics and which lever to automatically pull.

Or maybe she will do the self emolation gesture popular in some circles, as the left fails, finally and tragically.

While I might normally scoff at anything Jolie does, cancer is cancer. We are all human and subject to it. The horrors of cancer and early death are very real. I applaud her for going ahead and reducing her risk. Her children do need her. As for making it public, I think it’s great. Women are making these decisions daily, it will help them realize they can still be sexual after a radical surgery like this. Women need role models. I have no problem with it at all. I hardly think she is taking the pressure off thewon at all.

I am enjoying thewon’s struggles this week. Yesterday was awesome. I am really hoping one more scandal is really coming.

Brad Pitt wishes a "long and healthy life" for his fiancée Angelina Jolie.

Fast forward a year, and let's see if Brad is still with her.

Isn’t three a statute of limitations on an engagement? For crying out loud, aren’t they married yet?

Lara Cropped and the Womb Raiders? Coming soon to your screen.Brad Spitt will have only a bit part.

Beats Indiana Bones and Raiders of the Lost Bark.

The only question is whether Lara will rip out her womb as a follow up act to being cropped. Hopefully it will be vacant at that time.

Rummychick:

It is a simple medical fact that women with small breasts find lumps more easily than those with large ones. She absolutely fell into the small breast category. And yes, there are always the cases where someone is unfortunate to get an aggressive form of cancer (no matter where it is located). Based on the reality of her situation I still think she is a bit of a whacko. It’s her body and none of my business UNTIL they start making press releases about it. Then it is fair game.
