Teasing an upcoming panel discussion on Wednesday's NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer proclaimed: "Today's Professionals are going to weigh in on what could be a game changer in the gun debate, a plastic pistol undetectable by most security systems that almost anyone can make at home using some modern technology." Fretting over details being released on how to construct the weapon using a 3D printer, Lauer posed this questions to the usual group of liberal pundits: "What do we do about it?" Attorney Star Jones admitted that there wasn't much that could be done under existing law, "other than really step up our efforts at gun control....if you make the behavior, the penalty for the behavior, the possession of a gun, no matter how it's manufactured, much more stringent."

Lauer worried that the new technology "gets around gun control." Fill-in panelist and talk show host Wendy Williams declared: "But by the time they get on the plane and kill us all, I mean, TSA's going to be horrible. This is horrible. It's like the process of making this gun is ahead of the gun laws." Jones added: "Well, the gun laws are so much behind every part of society."
The hand-wringing continued as Lauer fueled the anti-gun panic: "But what do you crack down on? Do you crack down on the technology or do you crack down on a guy like this who might release this information?"
Advertising executive Donny Deutsch rounded out the hysteria by asserting: "...technology equals terrorism. And there is such a dark underbelly to every advancement in technology and I don't think we have a fence to catch up with it. I worry for my children going into the future..."(continued)

It will go underground and the Feds will and up making the printers illegal.
Waht are they talkin about all they can do is ban the 3-d printer! Besides criminals are not goin to take the time to print a gun they are just gonna buy the real deal on the street!
Don’t worry. Most Democrats can’t even punch holes in ballots let alone create one of these guns. Heck..most can’t even provide for themselves so how the heck could they assemble one of these guns? They’d want gov’t to do it for them.

I saw an article about this 3-D printing application in a Gem and Jewelry magazine. They got the gun site shut down, but it had already had 100,000 hits or downloads.
It’s pretty amusing how these liberals never talk about increasing the penalties for crimes committed with guns. For instance, gunpoint robberies could have double the penalty of knifepoint robberies. And criminal homicides committed with guns could have mandatory death penalties, regardless of whether it’s negligent homicide or murder.
What a bunch of idiots. God fearing Americans have been making perfectly legal homemade guns for a long time and no one, that I am aware off, has ever been killed with one (except for maybe gangs using “zip guns”).

They also don’t talk about how to clean out gang infested neighborhoods and disarming drug dealers and gangs. All they talk about is how to restrict law abiding citizens.
If we don’t change things, the whole country could become a war zone for the drug cartels. In the border states, it’s already happening.
