Yet another attempt to balkanize and de-Americanize the place ...make everyone concentrate on their differences, where they “came from,” not where they ARE, or where they should have loyalty to.
Divide and conquer. More of the same old same old.
My ancestors came from a piss poor little town in Germany. I’ve been there to see it. It’s nothing special. I’m DAMN glad those hard headed Germans decided to leave that drab place and relocate to upper state NY so my family could stand a chance and flourish here. It’s nice to know where they came from, but it’s even MORE important to know WHY they left.
As for the Irish side, well, starving, poor and weak is no way to go through life. Wouldn’t you relocate if all you had to eat were rotten, diseased potatoes?

The "Native Americans" came here over the Siberian Land Bridge.
Almost every country in the world was settled by "immigrants."

My mom was a (legal) immigrant, but on the other side, we have been here since well before the Revolution. GG and Grandma were proud DAR members.

Funny how he thinks islamics have the “right” to invade, suubvert, attack, take over anywhere on earth but Americans don’t have any more rights in USA. (Ps: has he come up with any new stories where he came from?)

My first "native born" ancestor was born in 1653 at Rappahannock, Virginia. That was 360 years ago. Since his birth there have been 10 descendants down to my grandsons. While this does not compare to "Native Americans" claims of being on this continent for at least 10,000 years, I believe I have plenty of demonstrable evidence that I, my children, and my grandchildren are native to this land. Hey Obozo, FUBO!!!

I was born here so I am a native American . Is the white house espousing creationist philosophy ? Are they saying the Indians were created here?

The White House is doing way too many recreational drugs and playing too much golf. I was born in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Somewhere else my @$$. I didn’t sneak in across the Bering Straight “land bridge”.

To quote Gabby Johnson; "I wash born here, an I wash raished here, and dad gum it, I am gonna die here, an no sidewindin' bushwackin', hornswagglin' cracker croaker is gonna rouin me bishen cutter. "
Anybody that doesn't like it can kiss my ass.

And to add, grandma always told the story of the German side who demanded that the kids and everyone in the family learn English, once they arrived in the late 1880’s. They had declared that they were now Americans and that was it ...it was considered SHAMEFUL to speak the language of the old country.
I’m sure many families could recount a similar story.
I think we need to consider — WHO is coming here and what is their character?
To: chessplayer
It’s a stupid argument. A guy born to two Indians on a reservation is no less “from someplace else” than I am. I do not possess the physical molecules of my great grandparents, much less did I personally live anywhere other than here my entire life.

My family was here through at least one Son of Scotland who came over, I believe in the Highland Clearances, and settled in Stephens City, VA. His grandson, my 2-greats grandfather, fought with the 1st Virginia Light Artillery in the Civil War. OMIGOSH! I'm a descendent of slaveholders!
Most of my ancestors were Famine refugees from Ireland who came here, legally, and became stalwart citizens who served in our military, our police, and as firefighters.
For this Marxist Maggot to cast aspersions on my family is beyond all bounds.
He says "You didn't build that." I say my family, like a myriad of other families, built it, I'm damned proud of them, and I will continue in the path they blazed for me!
"Riamh nár dhruid ó sbairn lann!"
Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

When our founders spoke of the enemy within, they were speaking of Obama and his America-hating, freedom-hating, godless socialist ilk.
