Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

We don’t need to defend her to the lefties.
***A.K.A, RINOs, or even CINOs. Yes, we do, because the CINOs run the republican party.

“you presume to strong-arm your definition of “morality” over other Christians”

Libertarian = Libertine....you are a heathen....and it has nothing to do with “my pride.”

Libertarians are heathens hiding under a conservative guise. It is really time to call them what they are. They are GODLESS heathens that have NO CONCEPT of real morality. I am sick of them spouting nonsense and pushing idiots like both Rand and Ron Paul on this forum.

Sarah, unfortunately, is infected with this pestilence called Libertarianism....fortunately she isn’t fully one yet.

Libertarians ARE NOT CONSERVATIVE they are anarchists destructive to civilization. And regardless of what you say, the so called “Right to Privacy” is DEFINITELY a LIBERTARIAN idea....that Liberals stole it doesn’t change a thing.

In many ways the ACLU and Libertarians are signing from the same book.

Polls are crap. At least 99% of them are.

Yes in the General Election absolutely. Cruz would be my first choice, however, and I hope he runs. Both candidate’s should be good at turning out the base and GOP-ers who sat out Romney’s bid. I doubt either would have much appeal to “independents” (though that’s overrated). Cruz might soften Hispanic support for the Democrat nominee.

Wouldn’t the corruption in DC just follow them wherever they move? Just curious about your idea.

To a degree in the upper circles yes (the lobbyists) ,but the legion of apparatchiks and their number encamped on the Potomac would be annihilated.

The degenerates in DC,Maryland and Virginia who are skimming off the top of the productive class, stealing cash from every working mans paycheck, and in effect a silent partner in every transaction amongst free men outside the Beltway, would be neutralized.

Time to start supporting candidates whose mission is not to reform DC, but dismantle it.

99% of Americans have never spent more than a week in DC, and have no idea that the Federal apparatus must be decentralized and rendered harmless.

Palin is not a libertarian. And there’s a big damned difference between a libertarian in the traditional sense and a libertine. Most libertines are the anarchistic Alex Jones Ron/Rand Paul followers.
Do not lump Sarah in with those people.

AbsoF***inglutely! Sorry but seeing some already moving on to Ted Cruz the latest “it” guy in the party and to people thinking he should be the nominee in 2016, you’re out to lunch. I like Ted, but how did he get into the Senate? I believe he’s admitted this at CPAC when he introduced her. So does it make sense to you people that we should put him in the driver’s seat and not her?
Let’s face it, this woman has been standing in front of us all along. Many who come here to trash her, whether it be rabid leftists or GOP hacks, they use superficial non substance claims against her. Like her voice is bad. Wow, how dumb. So you prefer someone who will lie to you and commit crimes against the republic just as long as his/her voice is the correct timbre? Pathetic. This is how we got Obama not once but twice.
Just thinking of spending the next four years after Obama listening to Hillary’s voice and I would not only vote for Palin, I would take a bullet for her if it came to that.
Face the facts, the Dems will either be looking to nominate Hillary or some other empty skirt like Liz “Fauxahontas” Warren just so they can run on the excitement of the first woman president. after Obama is done after his term, if he makes it through without being thrown out of office, that’s about all they’ll have.
Scary thing is, if a Dem woman is running against a white male, the GOP will lose. Palin is a national figure, the others are not. the others, while they may be decent in their own right and somewhat conservative, they’re only known to a very small percentage of the population who follows politics religiously. Palin is nationally and world known. She’s big enough to go over the head of the media and articulate her message to the people.

The only thing stopping Palin from running at this point is Palin herself. People criticize her for not running in 2012, but I think there were some personal and family issues, I also think she saw the writing on the wall. She saw the right side of the political aisle did not learn its lesson when nominating unprincipled RINOs. She should know something about the GOPe you know. She ran against them her whole political life and she got to see the inside of how they operate on a national level in 2008. She saw that it was being rigged for Romney. She would’ve been target number one for both Romney and Obama. The establishment were hell bent on nominating safe, controlled, electable Mitt. And they lost. Any GOP hack coming to criticize Palin you should shut your mouth and go back to your corners and continue to lick your pathetic wounds. We’re done with you.

Everyone on this thread is falling all over themselves to agree with Jim R. and almost pee themselves at the thought of a Palin run.
She wouldn’t win and she does divide. Its too bad. She pounds the otherside without mercy....leaving a bad taste in those damn low information voters mouths. Sadly we have to even consider those losers.
Personally, it appears to me that Sarah is about making bank on her name....and not a thing wrong with that...until she decides to make bank on power. I think genuine conservatives can do better than Palin.
A genuine leader given to this nation by God is our only hope. I just don’t think she is it.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not looking for any watered down version of a conservative. I’m thinking someone with grace. humility.

That was sweet the way you insulted the entire thread and in a way, even JR.

You top it off with attacking the leader of the conservative movement as in it for the money, sweet.

I don’t think Sarah Palin will run for POTUS, not in 2016 anyway. Alaska Senator for a term or two and then only when there is a much larger acceptance of her.
I would rather see her introduce a new party such as The Alaska Independent Party, which is very popular in Alaska, and who knows may even cross its border.

BTW.....it was no attack on Palin for earning money on her popularity. Good on her! You have something against making money honestly? I just don’t think she is the right pick. I prefer Ben Carson over Palin.

LOL, another dig at FR.

By the way, I doubt that a 60 something year old doctor that no one has ever heard of, is going to suddenly enter politics and become the republican nominee and win the presidency.

Geez...go away.
I think plenty have heard of Ben Carson. Believe it or not....it makes no difference what you think of him or not.

It just seems amusing to see you dismiss a top national figure who has been in politics for decades and is the conservative leader, so easily and nastily, for a doctor that you hope will enter politics for the first time and instantly become a 64 year old president of the United States, like in a dream.
