I’ve never bought into the “conscription is bad” mantra. The armies of Korea and World War II were extremely professional. I’m not sure how our CS and CSS units would do in a Pusan or Bastogne scenario; my guess is the female component would crumble quickly.

The first amendment guarantees him the right both to express himself and to have that be about his religion. Our choice is to debate him or to ignore him.

The Founders thought it better to permit free expression than to have the government involved in trying to control what people think and say.

I agree with them. Giving government the power of thought and speech police is far more dangerous than some random guy talking about his understanding of God.

I still say the night the DNC took that vote to “put God back in the party platform,” and they voted NO, 3 times was a prophetic moment. But to then have that broadcast around the nation and globe solidified the hardening of their hearts.

Many compared that moment to Peter’s denial.

I compared it more to Joshua 24. That night the DNC had the opportunity to look around themselves and express gratitude to all that God has blessed our nation with. Instead they issued a denial and essentially bowed down before the government, a false god to say the least.
