Whether it is due to the recent governmental attempt to enforce assorted gun controlling measures in the aftermath of the Newtown, CT shooting, or, merely driven by the same catalyst that saw a surge in gun sales four years ago, namely the presidential election, one thing is certain: America is weaponizing itself at an unheard of pace, with both Sturm, Ruger shipments and units produced surpassing 500,000 each in one quarter for the first time in history.

Just bought a brand new Ruger Mark III and got a brick of 500 bullets.
I love it. Also joined the NRA and am going to get my CCW as soon as possible. (shhhhh . . . don’t tell anybody, ok?)
Now if we could only persuade them to move all operations out of ct. that would be even better.
500 bullets, eh?
nah, ain’t gonna go there.
But, I will ask how much you paid and marvel that you were able to obtain .22 lr at all.
WELCOME ABOARD!
Yay!
Lots of squirrels in the pot!
B. Hussein Obama - the greatest firearm and ammo salesman in US history.
The home of every freedom loving American should have one of those rifles in it somewhere. It’s a close to a perfect gun as one will ever find.
Great for target shooting. My son bought the gun at a gun shop and since I bought it new, they gave him access to a brick of 500 22cal bullets. Not sure what he paid. It's the larger caliber bullets that they can't get due to our government stockpiling.
.22 LR in both nearby Walmarts....not much else...but .22 lr
Now I have to stick around and watch...I gotta see where this is going.
where the hell did you get a brick of 22’s! Those things are is hard to find as hen’s teeth.
you bought ammo, rounds, cartridges....
bullets are just the projectile.
just like the thing that holds the rounds is a magazine and not a clip.
Clips are real, but they either load magazines(removable or internal magazines) or hold rounds en bloc for specific firearms like the M1 Garand.
btw I have the MK II which is basically the MK III but without the lawyer generated ‘inprovements’...
I am not a hunter or a gun owner and had zero interest in owning a gun until recently, even for safety. Live in a safe area.
But, that is changing after I shot my brother’s AR-15 last year in the country over Thanksgiving. That was a heck of a lot of fun, and I even enjoyed the handgun I shot the same day.
It’s really enjoyable, and heaven knows I need some more hobbies that aren’t nerdy.
If even people like me are seriously wanting guns, Obama has a problem.
He has turned people onto guns that otherwise would have had no interest.
check walmart....there was lots of .22 ammo in 2 walmarts I went to...not much else..unless you use 28 gauge ammo, and a few other odd size ammo.
The squirrels feed on Cypress cones, some of those trees are huge, but you can see a squirrel a long way off.
Huh? Larger caliber bullets won't work in your Mark III. They are either .22 cal or not.
Not around here, went to Gander last week and the guy laughed at me like I’d lost my mind.
