Marco Rubio: Corrupted by Washington in Only Two Years
Canada Free Press ^ | 04-28-2013 | Fred Dardick

It’s hard to believe that Marco Rubio has only been in the Senate since January 2011. With the way he has been going on lately, telling conservatives what a bunch of unenlightened rubes we are for objecting to his immigration reform, you would think he’d been a Senator for 20 years.

I believe Rubio always was a liberal in a conservative’s clothing. It just didn't take long for the mask to fall away. We now know who and what he really is. A traitor.

He was ripe for corruption BEFORE he was elected. He’s a traitor.

From the article:
1. Put together in the dead of night by Washington insiders with zero transparency. Check.
2. Rushing the bill through the legislative process as fast as humanly possible before the opposition can get their act together. Check.
3. Refusing to accept even the barest hint of cooperation with Republicans who aren’t RINOs. Check.
4. We’ll have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it! Check.

YEP!

Yeah, I’d read about those...pecadilloes compared to the bribes he’s taken to fund his senatorial campaigning and subsequent leasing of his looks and “Hispanicness.”

/note “Hispanic” implies “illegal Mexican”

But, but, Rush loves the guy.

I'm not so sure about that, but Rush is mincing no words in saying what a disaster Rubio's amnesty would be for the Republican party. And he's saying it daily and more than any other of the most popular talk show hosts.

EXACTLY!!! And in this case, it's Grover Norquist and Cesar Conda.

It is not Marco Rubio’s fault that his supporters willfully doped themselves and ignored all of the warnings and warning signs before Rubio was ever elected, such as his ignoring the fact he is not a natural born citizen who is ineligible for the Office of the President. Rubio supporters acted with poor judgment and lack of integrity when they promoted a candidate who quite openly declared his intent to pursue the Presidency for which he is ineligible due to the Constitution's natural born citizen clause. Rubio also made his stance favoring unconstitutional immigration policies quite openly and quite obvious. Supporters of Rubio who now come along crying in their beer because they got exactly what they bargained for with their own lack of integrity have only themselves to blame for their disillusionment.

You are just fooling yourself, because Rubio is pandering to his base, the Florida Liberals. Rubio supporters simply lacked the judgement and integrity to to acknowledge their fantasies about Rubio.

He’s not been corrupted - he’s merely showing his true colors after having duped movement conservatives into donating millions towards his campaign. Now that he’s in office and business donors take him seriously, he doesn’t need grassroots support any more. I’d love to see this guy get primaried.

“We’ve obviously been had.”

If so, you did it to yourselves by ignoring the warnings and Rubio’s actions like the natural born citizen ineligibililty. Rubio lacked the integrity to acknowledge he was not a natural born citizen and thereby ineligible to be President. Supporters of Ribio therefore share in the same lack of respect for the Constitutional rule of law, and got exactly what they bargained for.

It wouldn't hurt for a lot of us to email Rush with a sentence or two about Rubio.

Rush isn't buying Marco's line, but I think they are friends and fellow Floridians....and Rush is being a nice guy when he blasts the proposed legislation but leaves Rubio out of it.

Rush knows we "got" Rubio's slick message during the interview, so all we have to do is send the Maharushie a note of encouragement to keep pounding away on amnesty and that we know he's not endorsing Rubio's position at all.

In other words, a word of encouragement to Rush would be helpful. It shows we're paying attention.

i understand your point but when rubio first ran for Senate he wasn’t running for the POTUS so that doesn’t apply to his furst running
His voting record in the Sena is pretty conservative.
And now that that POS 0dumbo is POTUS the issue of natural born is dead.

I think Rubio and whoever the other Pubs inhe Gang of 8 completely screwed the GOP>
Rubio is out front since he he a latino but there were 3 other Pubs.
I guess it is possible rubio is doing this as a convoluted way to save the GOP

Any process for a pathway to citizenship should include cross checking voter registration roles.

There should be no pathway to citizenship. You are buying the premise that there should be one.

One 'conservative' host that supports the Gang of 8 asked; "If an immigrant has crossed the border illegally but lived here long enough to be a productive and law abiding citizen, even owning his own home and paying taxes how is it hurting our liberties?"

How can someone who entered illegally, committed ID theft, stole an SSN, worked illegally, etc. be considered a "productive and law abiding citizen?"

If a person has come here to behave and provide a better life for their family, I can understand compassionate people wanting to give them a chance at legal citizenship. BUT, if they have been participating in democrat vote fraud to put people like Obama, Pelosi and Reid in office they have continued a life of crime and should get the boot in my opinion.

It seems like the vote is the last straw for you. The reality is that we have voter fraud committed by citizens of this country and legal permanent residents (green card holders.) There is little consequence for voter fraud in this country.

A typical example of my contention that all the “conservative” talking heads have evolved into just money grubbing dissatisfactionongers and are in reality no better than the Revs Jackson and Sharpton.

Yep, he needs to know what we know and think about it! I want to hear him and Hannity take apart Grover Norquist and his buddy Karl Rove, too!

We have no discernible representation on this issue. They (the pols) regard us as only a necessary evil to be tolerated until they throw us a bone at election time.

They’ve shown a readiness to sell the country’s sovereignty out for the right price. I don’t trust a single one of them... not one.

Marco Rubio was never a conservative outsider, he was Speaker of the House in Florida’s legislature.

That’s an ultimate insider position with big special interest campaign contributions coming in.

Speaker’s return the favors of special interests by controlling the individual members to get them to go along with the agenda bought by the big money.

Marco knows what he’s doing. He’s always been an insider.

Why should he switch parties? the repubs let McCain run as a repub and he’s twice as bad as Rubio and has been for 20 years.

The pee-on repubs might not like him, but the bigwigs will and that’s all that matters.
