There is so much tongue-and-cheek stuff from the writers. In one episode there is a character named Ambrose Chapel, which was the key to Hitchcock's movie "The Man Who Knew Too Much". An episode I watched tonight had a murder victim named Claude Dukenfeld, which was W.C. Fields' real name.
Among the guest stars were Tony Shaloub before he became famous and the young, unknown Jack Black. Peter Boyle appeared in the twilight of a great career, and he gave a wonderfully sour performance as a man who could get into the head of a serial killer.
There are a lot of little gems in the show.
But as I told Luv, after watching an episode, I get spooked by strange noises at night.

☺ I am working on these new tiger wood maple stocks for your gun.
Dunno if I will get it done for the 8th annual TCMS.
Gonna be awesome when it's done.

Come over for Sunday dinner!
Gonna have a nice moose roast (shoulder),
Ms.B’s wondermous roasted taters and carrots.
Gonna bake some bread in time to accompany the meal.
Can you bring a nice Cabernet?
;0)

Yes....I have had that happen. Usually takes a few minutes before getting its act together.
Steely Dan is playing just fine.

Fingers crossed.
The Grain looks like it will pop real nice.
I am strategising a finish.
I want to bring out the 3d cats eye character of the wood.
50% Boiled linseed oil, 50% mineral spirits.
That should open the wood up.-
