Hi! Here ....(((HUGS)))
Where were you on Sunday, April 27, 1975?
My radio career had experienced a meteoric rise followed by an equally meteoric fall. Now I was working an entry level job in computers, and the exciting years of life were no more. It was time for a long grind that lasted over 30 years.
Lets cue the Rockumentary theme!
San Remo Golden Strings: Festival Time
This debuted at #86 on the charts, and it would sit at #1 for a long time, becoming the biggest selling single of the year. It marked the return of Neil Sedaka as a songwriter after over a decade of silence.
It's Tunes For Our Troops Time!
WOW! Look at all you military boys all in a row....Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Army, Navy!!
Our thanks to all of you!!
Hi Kathy...did things finally settle down at work today?
Warm enough for Mom to be able to plant anything? *Hugs*
Hiya Janie! *Hugs*
Did I read you had injured your arm?
Heard this on the news at work today.....RIP George. *sigh*
Good evening, Drumbo...((HUGS))

So Sorry!
My Father told me their favorite song was “Lili Marlene”, even if was sung by a German woman.
He also said, Stars and Stripes did a poll among the soldiers and Roy Acuff was the favorite and by a good margin.
We live in extremes...the cold there & the heat here!
