Fox's 'The Following' Shows Murderous Cult with Tea Party Flag
Breibart - Big Hollywood ^ | 4-25-2013 | Christian Toto

Posted on 04/26/2013 5:17:49 AM PDT by Sir Napsalot

Hollywood and the mainstream media have been portraying the Tea Party movement as racist and violent ever since it rose up during the early months of President Barack Obama's first term.

Never mind that the Occupy Wall Street movement set the standard for ideologically driven violence, and that whenever Tea Partiers gather they typically leave the grounds cleaner than when they arrived.

>>> One could also question the viabilility of the incompetence of the FBI and authorities. Until we saw the reality of that play out live in Boston just a week ago.

Is that an eye opener or what!

I think the self righteous among us are really exposing their own weakness of will.

Granted a lot of it is stuff I wouldn’t let a child watch but that’s a job for the parents. I can make up my own mind and don’t fear what I disagree with and often find value in it even if it isn’t in the way the creators intended.

I watched V for Vendetta yesterday and was struck by the ignorance required for the left to watch it and not see themselves as the fascists.

??? It’s the same company that supplies my internet and land-line? Just like anything else, if I don’t like or want to view a program, I change the channel or turn it off.

So what is the problem?

You have to pick the hill your willing to die on. There is good entertainment and bad. Unfortunately 90+% of it is written/ produced/ directed by the left. Same with music. Willie Nelson is a major lefty but many here love his work (as do I) and when he pulls his leftist crap his fans roll their eyes and say “crazy willy”.

I watch Fox News because it is the least offensive. I refuse to pay for paid stations like HBO because they are rabid anti constitution.

I do however refuse to crawl completely into a hole.

On Rachael Ray's show, she used a pressure cooker, an item often associated with terrorism.

The historical illiterates around here think it has something to do with Islam because of the crescent moon.

That crescent is not actually the moon, but a gorget, which was originally a throat protector. Stylized versions were later used signs of office and as a heraldic symbol.

Of course, everybody takes it for a crescent moon nowadays.

I watched V for Vendetta yesterday and was struck by the ignorance required for the left to watch it and not see themselves as the fascists.

When it comes to broadcast entertainment, I do think I'm a bit self righteous. Or maybe it is boorish apathy. For me, it's the opposite of weakness of will. It just is not that important to me.

But I agree with you. I can watch opposing views without getting stirred up most of the time. In fact, on occasion, I force myself to watch MSNBC, ABC and CNN at times just to check the spin or omissions that the low info types and politicians are absorbing. I have watched Rachel Madcow a few times. Chrissy Mathews makes me feel pretty smart. Keith Overbite had some moments.

I also saw V and had the same sentiments. In general, Liberals can't seem to accept that their goals of total social control of human behavior is exactly in line with Muslim Extremists/Terrorists. On top of that, they miss the obvious differences between groups like the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street. They can marginalize and even justify violence if the cause is in line with their political priorities. Still, they seem to understand that it is politically correct to label Terrorism as bad.

On this topic, I just refuse to put any energy into being entertained by a TV show. I can't stand American Idol (or any of those other "talent" shows) precisely because of the fake drama and the talent commentators. My wife watches "The Voice". I'll only watch it with her if its recorded and we can fast forward through the commentary and just watch the talent.

Are you one of the people bitching about the programming on cable? If you’re not then you don’t have a problem. I don’t tjink its any more complicated than that.

The Mentalist is in the same category but

I watched it until Red John (duh!) became central.

With TM, I counted at 6 other TV shows that had the background premise of a major character having had parent(s) or spouse/kids killed by some ominous killer who is still on the loose.

Hollywood does NOT have very many script ideas and even fewer program concepts. Most are just rehashings of a similar.

I have actually got to the point to where, 90% of the time, 10 minutes into the detective/police/crime agency program, I can pick out the one who is going to end up being the killer in the 'twist' revealed at the end of the episode. It's easy. Just watch for the writer's pattern to develop and oh yeah that's him/her.

They sure are trying to discredit Sarah Palin before the 2014 and 2016 elections, aren’t they?

When the bombs are raining down on you, it seems you have found their vulnerability.

I watch the show. There is nothing political about it. Y’all are reading way to much into this. I didn’t even notice the flag when I saw that episode, but the the cult leader is a liberal literature professor if it makes you feel any better

How dare you spoil the fun with mitigating facts!

When some of us went to Jarbidge, Nv and more of us protested over property rights in Klamath Falls, we flew that flag.
