A startling home-made video now shows the terrifying moments where Watertown residents were forced out of their homes at gunpoint as SWAT teams performed door-to-door searches as they hunted the second marathon bomber.
While millions of Bostonians waited in their houses on Friday during the city-wide lockdown, the people of Watertown were faced with SWAT officers yelling at them to get out of the buildings immediately.
At the time, the Boston police department and federal agents were barely criticized, but now many are concerned about the dangerous precedent that could lead to more police searches using the rationale of exigent circumstances as an excuse.
The video, shot by an unidentified Watertown resident, shows a team of SWAT officers wielding semi-automatic guns bang on his neighbors front door and scream for them to get out of the house.
The residents are whisked away- hands in the air, one by one- to a nearby group of officers as the SWAT team searches the house for the second shooter, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Early reports, made by journalists who were kept out of Watertown by a police barricade, said that the searches were voluntary.
Now, the video published on right-wing conservative news blog InfoWars, asserts that the searches were involuntary, as all residents were forced out of their homes whether they liked it or not.
The six-minute video shows just one search of the suburban towns homes during the day-long lockdown. While the outside world looked to the media gathered on the perimeter of Watertown, those trapped inside the search area looked outside to scary sights.

They'll have surveillance cameras in every room, because it ain't your property.
Actually no -- just a few boneheads
“... only some one named Ever Vigilant thinks this was cool...”
What he or she doesn’t realize is everything is a test. (Not initially one but seen as one now). How easy the Bostonians surrendered their freedom from movement, running a business or stepping out of their home. Force them out of their home via gunpoint and they not only comply.. they cheer. The fact that the media hasn’t discussed this much just proves how easy it is to take America via force IMHO.
..we’d have to know the circumstances under which the house was searched....was the address a known address the bombers were familiar with, was the house (or address) also connected with the other two men here illegally associated and still in jail?
Let me know when you find one. So far, every person I've talked to in Mass about this supports law enforcement, and they think what is being said about them is grossly offensive.
WHAT two hundred American’s killed and maimed?
My question, if you were controlling that manhunt..wouldn’t you have used dogs from the scene of the last known vehicle that he used that was abandoned???
Here is why the tarp photo is important
From my post:
“I understand why people are confused but you have to step back and look at the whole picture.
It doesnt add up.
The story now is that it is a neighbors surveillance camera that took that picture on the night/early morning before the door to door search. Is it??????? Or is it a story to hide his condition
Think about the condition of that guy. Could he actually step out of the boat like that with a throat wound after the boat was shot up and he was flash banged and he spent all night losing blood.. Where is the blood all over him.
So what really happened.
The guy is in a car that got shot up. He is escaping on wheels.
That doesnt warrant a warrantless search the likes of which we saw on Friday because he could be ANYWHERE IN ANY STATE.
But if they found the abandoned car then it might give a basis for the massive swat armored car police state.
HOWEVER, a trained dog would have picked up that scent.
It is just mighty convenient that they found him after the massive warrantless searches were over but no dog found him from a blood trail scent.
My little dog can pick up a scent and you see her follow it with her nose to the ground.
You cant tell me trained dogs couldnt have found him if properly utilized.
Thats why they use dogs for manhunts.
So the question is....was that picture take before the door to door manhunt or after?
If after, that is not the same kid in the same condition he would have been after being shot in the throat.
If before, how do you explain the torn tarp??? And no one seeing it all day long.”
Bostonians ain’t Texans...
or Kansans, either, for that matter...
to whit: “Kansas Legislature Sends Governor Strongest Pro-gun Bill in Country”
Like hunting rabbits...media=hunters, cops=dogs, homes=briar patches, terrorist=rabbits. This sort of thing has been going on forever
How quickly people forget.
The Fascists in Amerika show their faces to the people.
This will be the same tactic used to take away our firearms.
Then it will be used to take away conservatives to re-education camps so all our property can be taken and redistributed to the leftist voters, and the fulfillment of Bill Ayers statement that upwards of 30 million Americans will need to be eliminated in order to install a socialist state in the US.
Welcome to the New World Order complete with Fascist Storm Troopers, “just following orders”.
Please take note that NO republican in office has so much as said a word, much less our brave conservative radio talk show talking bobble heads
I agree with you, when it was said that Boston residents had to stay home, I thought if it was me, I’d be heading on in to work, po po order notwithstanding
House to house searches and the fourth amendment

That’s why everyone should have CB radios and land-lines
How quickly people, like you, make things up.
Consider the location and that speaks volumns. Now go out to Arizona, Wyoming or Texas and try that.
Maybe people think differently about these things when they are actually involved, as opposed to sitting at a keyboard?
I’m baffled. You’re not aware that these terrorists either killed or maimed almost two hundred people in Boston last Monday?
No, you did not. You misdirected and brought up "hot pursuit", as in when the police observe a suspect running into a particular building, they need not obtain a warrant to pursue him into that particular building.
I just knew EV will show up.
