The bombers engaged the police in a couple of serious gun battles in the last 24 hours. Not one word about what kind of weapons were used by the terrorists. Fully automatic? Rifles? Pistols? Flintlocks?" Why no word on the type of weapons? Right after Sandy Hook all we heard was all the evils about the nasty AR-15 used. So what's the deal now?

Girandoni 1779. Makes me smile every time I see it.
This one can be had in a two compressed air configuration. Check on the picture for the link.

They were rifles, not guns (actually guns are neither handguns nor rifles), they weren't assault type, either since no one knows what the govn. thinks an assault gun is so no one knows what an assault type is. Well if I had to define these things, "Assault rifles" would be an M-16/M-4 that can fire fully automatic. AR's? Those are just semi automatic rifles.
This:
And this:
Are the same gun.
But to some douche bags, the bottom one IS AN ASSUALT RIFLE!!!! OH NOES!!!

I sawll this last year at the range and I’m thinking “purdy kewel”.
I should get one.
They are expensive as heck but, ammo is unlimited and given the range of engagement, a pretty acceptable arm...

The gun vault down at the local mosque. Obozo would throw any FBI agent in jail who reported that.
Big Sis has no interest in that. She's got her crosshairs on you Deer/Duck/Trap club.

Agreed on all points.
I'm leaning that way now with but one concern. There has to be a better way to fill the 3000psi bottles.
I have the .177, .22 and .25. The .25 is a bit of a workout with the break barrel. All of them are beautiful examples of workmanship.

The MIT officer was shot in his car. LEO found him with his gun still in its holster. He never had a chance.

When carried by thousands of angry cops storming into the neighborhood, the term “assault type guns” actually has some meaning to it.

Are you thinking of this report? Yeah, that be it, probably a little senior moment there, I read an item published December 2012 rather than the event date.

Yes, fully automatic is an assault rifle no matter what the cosmetic look is.
My semiautomatic rifle is PINK but works just like the black semiautomatic rifle the cops were carrying.

Reference? Chechen terrorists probed
The Washington Times Wednesday, October 13, 2004

I seem to have had a senior moment, and recalled the publish date of the reference to the item.
Perseverando found it and set me straight, it's way too early to have a F&F connection.
