WASHINGTON In a capital city on edge, letters sent to President Barack Obama and a Mississippi senator tested positive for poisonous ricin in preliminary checks Wednesday, and authorities chased a stream of reports of other suspicious-looking items sent to senators in Washington and beyond.
Some of the suspicious items, reported on a day when many people were already jittery after the Boston bombings, were declared false alarms. Authorities waited for more definitive results on others.
An FBI intelligence bulletin obtained by The Associated Press said the letters to Obama and Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., were postmarked Memphis, Tenn. Both letters said: To see a wrong and not expose it, is to become a silent partner to its continuance. Both were signed, I am KC and I approve this message.

Possibly someone cross about not being invited to perform
at the whitehouse Memphis SoulTrain shindig??
....I’m calling looking for sympathy.....you can’t tell me since the threats have increased 400% with clowny in office that this is the first powered filled letter addressed to him.......
Was there a message in Obama’s letter? The Jester (on his Twitter feed) suggested there was but didn’t provide a link.
Memphis? This more than anything else says “False Flag”. Memphis? Do you think that wasn’t designed to trigger an Amish reaction? It’s not like anyone would automatically think of MLK - hmmmm. Symbolic bullshite.
I think the prez should throw a tantrum over the slow delivery of his mail and insist that it be delivered immediately to his desk upon arrival.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio was mailed a bomb last week. Where was it from? Memphis? Boston? Florida?
I think that he and his advisors deemed that it would make Obama look like, "one of us!"
You know, we could feel that he's also threatened, not just the three dead and hundreds wounded in Boston and the Republican from Mississippi!
Clinton tried that in the wake of the 9-11-anthrax attacks. There was a "suspicious package" with "poisoned" contents at his Harlem office. It turns out it was some kind of food carepackage that had sat unopened for over 30 days and spoiled.
No one sent a letter like that to the moron,,He and the commie fools are lying..
I agree..I wish the pathetic moron would shut up and go away..
just reread my post...powdered instead of powered...
probably the safest place yet, he's never there
I connected these dots in Memphis, TN from the current ricin laced letter(s) to the 5 illegal immigrants who were nailed in 2002 buying drivers licenses in Memphis from Katherine Smith..
They were from New York City, and all reportedly of Arab descent. Authorities say these drivers licenses were purchased for $1000.00 each.
They were taken to jail and held there without bail. Smith on the other hand, was released on her own recognizance.
No jail, no bail, nothing for her except “come back Monday”.
Problem is: She never got to court. She died one day prior.
On Sunday Morning, at about 12:15 AM, Smith’s car was found against a utility pole on Hwy 72, totally engulfed in flames.
Looked like an accident at the beginning.
Then the Feds came in and during a probable cause hearing Federal and state investigators found gasoline on the clothes Katherine Smith was wearing when she died.
Looks like Memphis may be a “hub” and there is more there than we know!

Agreed. It's all for the attention along with the failed gun bill and O'Care is falling apart. Even his presser on the Benghazi Boston bombing failed miserably. Boo hoo, he has to have something to get the camera back on him and bring on the sympathy.
Sorry but I just don’t think that Obama was sent a letter.
I think that he and his advisors deemed that it would make Obama look like, “one of us!”

I think you may be on to something....
I don't have any details.
He controls the news source and who is anyone to say whether anyone noticed that a letter addressed to him appeared or not.
