Highly speculative, but reportedly a Saudi was acting hinky and hurt in the blast. If he planted the device(s), he may have been slated by an accomplice as “would be”, that is to say an unwitting martyr by the person with the trigger. Much greater propaganda value with a martyr.

I am beginning to think this looks like "lone nut" work, given that if it's political somebody should have said "we did this because of the ongoing ... yadda yadda yadda" and nobody has. When Islamist terrorists do their thing, "moderate" muslims in the US are totally silent (or they scold us about imaginary anti-islamic bigotry) so the fact that an Islamic Society is actually condemning it tells me that at least they don't believe it was a muslim.

It’s probably not that high, but it is high, easily 1/3.*
Due to polygamy and keeping women basically imprisoned, the rich guys have mutltiple wives and the average guy has no shot at getting married/laid.
The result is a lot of teen guys get raped/molested and are pretty messed up when they grow up, seperate and apart from the religion issue.
* My knowledge is from serving in certain muslim countries and being offerred young boys as a matter of course by tribal chieftons. They don’t exactly prepare you for that in special forces training, or at least didn’t when I went through. I hope it’s made the manual.
As an aside, this is why the special forces guys (or whomever has to negotiate with these guys — e.g., CIA) grow beards. No beard in muslim countries = gay prostitute.
