Sounds like the JFK Library had a bomb go off and it was not a fire. Confusing reports I have heard. One report said it was a fire at the library.
CBS in Boston says that more devices were found under the grandstands, but can not confirm it. Just what they were told.
A guy supposedly was found on surveillance tape putting backpacks into garbage cans.
I think amputation, but dismemberment would have worked.

I am not sure, but if I look at the photo’s I see a lot of people with injured legs. I suspect the bomb was a copy of the IRA nailbombs:

If it was in a bag on the sidewalk with the bomb in it and standing upwards it would create this kind of injuries by the fragments of nails that fly sideways, in this case at street level.
The intact devices will tell them a lot.
