"We had an interesting discussion about why fewer students are coming to, particularly from Japan, to study in the United States, and one of the responses I got from our officials from conversations with parents here is that they're actually scared. They think they're not safe in the United States and so they don't come," Kerry tells CNN.

Foreign Students 'Scared' of Guns in America Good. Get out!
Now, if we could only get American kids to stop being scared of education and work.

Funny. The elites like to pretend that there is no difference between a Chicago south-side gangbanger with a Glock nine and a fourth-generation Ohio deer hunter carrying his grandfather’s lever-action .30-30.

They think they're not safe in the United States and so they don't come. What's the down side?

In the early eighties I conducted a job interview with a refugee - a young Russian Jewish engineer with his non-Jewish wife. She was from a small Russian town and when she told her kinfolk she was emigrating to America, they all wept. They were afraid she would be murdered and/or raped. It seems all of their knowledge of America came from old gangster movies and movies that portrayed city violence.
I submit the same is true in most of the world even today. Thank you Hollywood.

Well, he did serve in Vietnam. For ninety days or so. He left after claiming three self inflicted scratches were war wounds. Politically connected even then, he went from being a lying, skulking, malingerer to service as an admiral's aide. And after returning to civilian life he embarked upon a despicable career of libeling real Vietnam warriors. A thoroughly vile and despicable human being.

If I know the Japanese, it’s not the guns they fear, it’s the black people with guns. They read the same stories about Chicago, Philly and Detroit that we do.

"knowledge of America"
Years ago, my ex-fiancee's sister and two of her children were coming over from Germany to visit us in our home in western Wisconsin. They planned to fly to Milwaukee, rent a car, and then drive across the state to our home a distance of about 200 miles. The sister's husband, who was/is a German doctor, forbade her from renting a car and driving across the state, because scores of people were shot to death every day on the state's highways. He knew that to be a fact. (snicker)

then understand the constitution and our laws then and if they don;t like it then piss off.
I came to America and found it weird, why have different laws in places, why have guns etc but then I was ignorant and the more I looked at the history and the way America was set up the more informed and more understood I became.
