Poll: Police overwhelmingly disagree with Obama’s Gun Control proposals

Although the President likes to place police officers as a backdrop while speaking on his gun control proposals, a new poll clearly shows that by an overwhelming margin that police disagree with President Obama’s Gun Control proposals

PoliceOne.com released the findings from last month’s Gun Policy & Law Enforcement survey, that shows without a doubt most cops believe that Obama’s gun control polices will NOT work in practice.

Because they (POLICE - SHERRIFS, ETC.) are front line and have to deal with realities day in and day out.

Washington Politicians have no clue as they have the CIA, FBI, the whole Military complex (just down the street) and their own personal Private protective services.

Maybe the police have noticed that they usually have no problems with legal gun owners.
CCW holders have the lowest crime rate among all demographics, have already shown they are responsible and are very careful not to do anything stupid to lose their license.
When a legal CCW holder pulls the trigger, it's usually for a damn good reason, any policeman worth his salt would have done the same, if not much sooner.

Several Sheriffs in Colorado have said the Colorado laws were illegal and unenforceable. Some are filing suit.

The only ‘police’ who agree with hussein are the overly ambitious chiefs who intend to run for elective office and the hardcore federal Thought Police who bow down to an effigy of hussein every morning before work.

Colorado is passing a law allowing SS (secret service) authority to arrest people outside of their federal duties. Some said it was a plan to arrest the Sheriffs that were not their laws.

They don’t seem to be disagreeing in NY State. In fact, they are marching in lock step.
