Neurosurgeon Ben Carson apologized Friday for comments he made about gay marriage on Sean Hannity’s TV show earlier this week.
“I think in terms of what was said on Sean Hannity’s show, that was taken completely out of context and completely misunderstood in terms of what I was trying to say,” Carson told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “As a Christian, I have a duty to love all people and that includes people who have other sexual orientations, and I certainly do, and never had any intention of offending anyone… If anyone was offended, I apologize to you.”
The John Hopkins doctor came under scrutiny when he appeared to liken homosexuality to pedophilia and bestiality, sparking the outrage of the LGBT community.
“My thoughts are that marriage is between a man and a woman. It’s a well-established fundamental pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality, it doesn’t matter what they are, they don’t get to change the definition,” the doctor, who is the director of pediatric neurosurgery, said on Hannity’s show Tuesday.
His comments also led to a petition by students at Johns Hopkins University, who want him to be removed as commencement speaker, as was initially planned. Students, colleagues and the media alike have harshly criticized Carson for his choice of words.

AND? What is the controversy? The sex positive agenda believes that ALL sexual pairings should be celebrated without moral judgments. They preach that orgasm is a birthright to be enjoyed at every age regardless of sex, age, relation, marital status, number, or species of partner(s).
That slippery slope keeps slipping. RECALL that the gay mafia said that this was ONLY about the activities of consenting ADULTS in PRIVATE. Here it is in schools being pushing on MINORS and in the courts for MARRIAGE and ADOPTION. When does the child consent to being brought into an alternative lifestyle home?

Why apologize..what he said was absolutely RIGHT..homosexuality is a perverted sexual behavior..period!! I dont see the media demanding that sleaze ball Jason Biggs apologize for trashing 1.2 billion Catholics on twitter with his disgusting comment about the Pope..but if you say something that is TRUE about gays, all hell breaks loose. I heard him on Fox today. Now 8 students graduating from Johns Hopkins are demanding he not be the featured speaker at their graduation. We have a generation of homosexual-loving lunatics that will be running our country.

A seemingly innocent utterance has done in many a political career.

They already successfully changed the definition of the word “gay.” Why wouldn’t they think they could train their sights on the word “marriage” and have similar success?

Sounds to me that Carson was shown the political light that anything goes as well as that he is not a total social conservative. Question! To his admirers does this make him better POTUSA material?

I’m guessing history is repeating itself. There have been many other times during human history in which sodomites of all types ‘pushed’ the limits of tolerance and the larger public was forced to respond.
I will never forget the gay parade I happened upon in the early 80’s in Chicago. The participants were mostly goading the passers by and being outrageous was a requirement. It was like a organized temper tantrum.
I see their leadership as narcissists who will do anything to get the respect they think they deserve. The saddest result are those ‘gays’ who are brainwashed into thinking that homosexual activity is the only life available to them.

Seriously though, I’m tired of hyper-sensitive a-holes complaining about everything. I will never apologize for something I’m not sorry about.
His primary point was that NO group ('gay', straight or otherwise) should get the right to change the definition of marriage. And he went on to effectively support that exact point under the hostile questioning of Andrea Mitchell.
