The only thing he apologized for was using NAMBLA and beastiality in the sentence as if equating those with same sex civil unions, which he said was not his intent.

His primary point was that NO group ('gay', straight or otherwise) should get the right to change the definition of marriage. And he went on to effectively support that exact point under the hostile questioning of Andrea Mitchell.

He shouldn’t have apologized. Disappointed that he did. I have said the same and yes, have discussed the same incest and bestiality issues with those lobbying for same sex marriage on Facebook. I will continue to do so and I will not apologize for it! Come on, conservatives, get your game on!
