SAN ANTONIO -- The battle for same-sex marriage equality took an interesting turn in San Antonio late Wednesday night as gay rights advocates ambushed a Chick-fil-A with signs and posters.
More than two dozen Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) messages covered the windows of the fast food restaurant in the 1300 block of Austin Highway.
Workers at the business weren't aware of the signs until they arrived for work Thursday morning. They had no comment.
Some of the signs which were taped to the chicken franchise's window read, "Government can not dictate love," "Support love note hate," and "Your son is gay and everything will be okay."
Chick-fil-A was likely targeted because of CEO Dan Cathy's public opposition to gay marriage last summer. This week, Supreme Court justices began hearing two cases at the heart of same-sex marriage rights.
So far, no San Antonio group has claimed responsibility for the signs
A clear offense of harassment. Cowards.
These people are free to love whom ever they want and I am free to say you will never be married regardless of what a court may say.
Homo-Derangement on display.
First, a sign says “Government cannot dictate love”. Yet they’re asking the government to do exactly that. Second, this business is not the government.
I am so old I recall when Texas was Texas.
How “tolerant” of them
The MSM would have a fit if the same thing happened to them, say Starbucks. I really hate that they get away with this because they know that conservatives are usually people of peace.
It seems like when these people act out it always has a theatrical twist. No wonder Hollywood is so overrun with rump rangers.
The signs are kind of amusing. They should have added a sign that says "Perverse Rights do NOT equal Civil Rights." Men and women are NOT interchangeable.
Eventually the useful idiots will realize that they are compromising the mental and physical health of themselves and the general population for a transient popular culture.
This could have great comic potential.
How about
“If Obama was straight, he’d still support gay marriage”
Conservatives CAN do something about where they choose to do business. I have traded in my Starbucks for Folgers and flavored coffee creme. After the election I was in Starbucks and the lady barista said, “Romney!” and others began to chuckle. That was their last tip from me and I have requested that I get cash cards from other businesses, NOT Starbucks!! I feel SO much better as I do not have to mingle with the intellects and gays that somehow have much time to waste at SB!
Life IS GOOD!
Oh? The "battle" for "equality?" It merely took an "interesting turn?"
Interesting turn...Interesting...Bugs are interesting. Paramecium are interesting. Tapdancing penguins are interesting. VANDALISM, is not "interesting."
Imagine if a starbucks had been covered with pro-family signs. They'd have the friggin swat teams kicking down doors looking for who did it.
these people don’t want homo marriage. it has nothing to do with marriage. it’s about destroying the Church and Christianity
anyone that thinks these people want the blessing of an organization they despise is just as nutty as the homos
Sick faggots.
Under consistent LGBT-oriented law and policy, because of the new definitions of illegal discrimination and "hate speech," it will be unlawful to advocate an exclusive commitment to real marriage.
Try organizing any activity or service in support of specifically gender-normal kids, man-woman marriage or mom-dad families, and youll find out you cant. Examples:
boys or girls activity group (like BSA)Anything at all related to normal child development, relationships, courtship, weddings, family-building, fertility, adoption, ANYTHING...if you dont rewrite your program content to affirm the LGBT gender perspective, they will take you down for illegal discrimination or hate speech --- yes, take you to court, and shut you down.
a dating service (like e-Harmony)
religious wedding venue (like Methodist Ocean Grove)
an adoption program (like Catholic Social Services)
personal counseling (like by an Armed Forces chaplain)
a (real) marital sexuality speakers´ series
a family values-based group for husbands and wives
a "Your Future Family" parenting class in any school
talks on genuine mother-and-fatherhood
a counseling program supporting kids real gender identity
a University course on Family Law
a summer camp for boys (or girls)
a Father-Daughter Dance
a Father-Son Sports Day
Most people only find it mildly nonsensical. Silly. Or merely irritating. I fear most people do NOT know the totalitarian crisis we are facing.
"Homosexuality isn't about 'love'. It's about inserting objects into each others' anuses."
"Support love not hate,"
"Support normalcy, not deviance."
"Your son is gay and everything will be okay."
"You don't know my son. But I guarantee you he'll kick your fairy son's worn-out ass."
Ding! Ding! Ding!
