I would prefer to neither hear any more, nor see any more, of Beyonce.
He does it on purpose. I don’t blame him, but it gets tiresome if it goes on too long.
“Good. Please do move on so we dont have to listen to your whining.”
Wow, really?
Just so you know, I’ve been a fan and listener since he was on WABC in New York, before national syndication.
I guess you enjoy the Beyonce report. Maybe he’ll do three hours about that Arias circus too.
Yeah, I’ve heard all about his “outreach” stuff but at this point it is getting ridiculous.
Hammer, meet nail!
Pardon my entering the thread willy-nilly but....
Perhaps Rush is sending a message to the GOPe that if you pander to the low-information voters your base will ‘tune out’?
Maybe?
I love ya Rush, but please.....
5th sucky show in two weeks...I’m tuning out fer now, but will give him 10 minutes on Monday...see if he can redeem himself.
I’m weary of this low-info voter crap.
Cheers!
Good grief. This place is full of whiners. I wonder if there’s a tantrum-free, adult thread that can be found for chatting about Rush’s show.
P.S. I’ve always busied myself with other things when Rush is on a subject that bores me. That’s always worked for me.
Had to do the same thing, my time is going to get much more preciious the next week and a half as I get closer to Easter.
Because it’s funny.

He’s off the Beyonce crap now.
No, it is just that Rush is making a “trival subject” look interesting when it is not.
Didn’t he recently say that he wanted to “fly under the radar”? You’d never know it, all he does is play clips which quote him. I listen to him on my phone and the sound is incredibly clear. He does a lot of wheezing.
I think you might be right!!
Just so YOU know, I HATE all things pop culture. With the exception of the first playing of the Oilers' Fight Song (which I totally loved and sang along with from the first to the last note), I was also bored with his first segment. But as I stated in post #68, I busy myself with other things until he moves on to something that interests me.
On those days when he's boring me so much I just turn off the show, I am able to sign on to my Rush 24/7 account and see if there's anything I missed that I really wanted to hear. It just never occurred to me to hop online and whine about the tone of his voice.
Better watch it or you’ll be called whiners and be told to go away by the “thread cop”.
There will be no criticism of Rush here.
All Rush is doing is repeating himself day after day on a narrow range of subjects.
He has the money for the most crackerjack research staff in the talk media. He also undoubtedly has built up many mole sources in the DC political world for tips and leaks....inside stuff that's new and fresh....even delicious.
But his material is stale....he mostly plays clips and reacts to them....or he spends time reacting to media references to Himself. Seldom are there any new topics or insights, just reactionary stuff to several-days-old news.
I hope he's well....he's getting boring.....even the song parodies are unintelligible and stink. Simple ditties like "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iraq" lingers in my memory, LOL....unlike any of the current over-produced parodies.
Rush is going to lose a lot of listenership if he keeps up this robotic crap.

There is a thin line between pandering to the LIVs and coddling them. We seem to have a whole generation of people who can’t handle any stress whatever, and it is the job of the Government to coddle them. It makes my skin crawl at times.
