University of Ilinois ^ | March 21, 2013 | Universtity of Ilinois

Sea ice extent has been above average for about three weeks now. No big deal, but worth a mention. Please see the attached link from The Cryosphere Today page, published by the University of Illinois.

There appears to be a very consistent and recognizable pattern for global sea ice, and based on this pattern, I believe we can predict the pitch of any hysteria regarding global warming. When sea ice is low, hysteria is high. When sea ice is high, hysteria goes into hiding lest it become a subject of ridicule.

Central VA daytime high temps have been averaging 10-15 degrees below historical norms all month.

Horse puckey.

What you fail to understand is the devastating effect of sequestration on the global warming propaganda ministry.

OMG... I didn’t even consider that. So what you’re saying is that since sequestration, global warming has had to slow down since there’s less money for the government to burn, thus releasing more CO2 into the atmosphere and causing more global warming.

God, I’m going to have to reinvestigate everything I understood to be true.

About a month ago, I flew across the Atlantic. I wasn’t sure what I was looking at but it’s now clear it was sea ice. Lots of it.

You’ve misinterpreted the chart. It is currently above the mean, something that happens every year. Other charts show the extent to be below average.

It will be 45 f here by the Gulf of Mexico. I don’t remember it ever being this cold this late in Spring

Global warming is a hoax. So they are trying to change the name of global warming to “climate change”

I thought globull warming/climate change was responsible for mass shooting. Man am I confused now. Maybe it was the cause of bird migrations. Well, regardless, all I know for sure is that all my grass, plants, tress and shrubs love them some CO2.

What changed in about 2006. The high-low swing pattern changed about that time in the chart. There where spikes recorded before but the pattern appears to be different starting in 2006.

Didn’t the globull-warming pinheads say all the sea ice would be melted and all polar bears would drown? Now I guess the worry is that polar bears will get hypothetmia. Maybe we should be knitting them sweaters.

I did not misinterpret the chart. This chart show both arctic and Antarctic sea ice extent. The average does not fluctuate with the seasons. Currently the extent is higher than the mean.

The hysteria never goes away. If the sea ice is high, it's due to "climate change".
