Rangel Fibs: Democrat Claims "Millions" Of Kids Being "Shot Down By Assault Weapons"

During an appearance on MSNBC this morning, Congressman Charlie Rangel was asked what he thought about the assault weapons ban being dropped from Senate bill.

Rangel blamed the defeat on politics and money and then made the extraordinary claim that "millions of kids" are dying because they are "being shot down by assault weapons."

Rangel is another left wing bold faced liar. He and our VP have no user for truth and fact when talking about guns.
It is a waste of time to even bring this up. They are liars, bold faced liars.

“number” is seriously deranged. Think of Pelosi’s hundreds of millions of jobs lost, and countless other statistics from
Parallel Universe put out there by Dems for the last four years. Indeed, their single biggest opening salvo started more than four years ago when we were told by hundreds of different “strategists” that the Bush economy at the end of his second term was “hemorraghing 800,000 jobs per month”.
A statistic that may have been true on some levels, but Obama has far exceeded that, and made sure to stifle forever
the short and long term prospects for job growth.

Congressman Rangel should change that to "a few millions" of kids are shot down by assault rifles.. then the MSM will report it as fact with no questions whatsoever. It's worked before.

Democratic [Congressman Major Owens] from New York City . . . stated in a 1995 speech on the House floor that during the African slave trade more than 200,000,000 people were thrown over the sides of the slave ships which carried them across the Atlantic, permanently disrupting the ecology and causing sharks to follow any and all ships since the trade was stopped in the 1850's. This figure worked out to be 152 slaves taken aboard nine ships per day for 200 years to get the total amount of slaves thrown overboard. After reworking his absurd figure down to 100,000,000 slaves, Owens' claim was picked up by ABC News, which reported the claim as "fact".
