SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) A controversy has been re-ignited this week as ten new ads go up on San Francisco Muni buses containing quotes used by terrorists.
Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah, reads one of the ads, which has people debating the line between free speech and hate speech.

Why not put out a similar add but use a picture of Adolf Hitler and change the last part to "... worship that brings us closer to hell..."
That would also be considered Free Speech.
Note that both would be offensive to Jews as well as many other people...
I am not sure why killing Jews is okay, but not Pro-Life Ads...
SF is ALL DEMOCRATS.....thta’s how they can get by with this crap.
I suspect you’re misreading the intent of the ads. It seems they are meant to show the true nature of islam, rather than serve as a call to kill Jews. Fighting the jihadis with their own words, so to speak. And that is most likely why the people in San Francisco are upset, that they are shown to be supporters of genocidal jihadis.
How about “Killing Muslims Will Prevent Another 9/11”?
Disgusting city full of disgusting perverted freaks.
Nobody reads the article.
I think the earlier posters were misreading the intent.
In this case, I am not sure whom the hate speech is supposed to be directed at in this "debate".
Is it felt to be hate speech against Jewish people? That is not the intention, nor is it the implication by any reasonable informed understanding.
Or is the debate that this is hate speech against Muslims?
My guess is the answer is all of the above to those who simply don't want these ads to be seen.
Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah, reads one of the ads, which has people debating the line between free speech and hate speech.
Two issues here. The obvious one intended to anger. We can counter that with -
A) By pointing out the evil inherent in that statement.
B) Calling it hate speech and legislating aginst it.
I choose A. Which brings us to issue #2.
Debating the line between hate speech and free speech, indeed. There’s only free speech, in my book.
Calling it hate speech and trying to limit it is paving the road to hell with good intentions.
How about “Killing Muslims is self-defense”?
Pithy and truthful, especially if you’re a Jew.
There is no room in America for the concept of “hate speech.” That said, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, so the ragheads can’t complain when we start a “Mohammed was a pedophile murderer and muslimes are unwashed goat rapers” campaign.
Love CBS’ misleading article title.
Because the 3rd Reich is not a current threat. Islam is... thus the campaign to not let them sweep their murderous philosophy under the liberal rug.
Yeah, just keep your head in the sand, San Freakcisco. Betting on the notion that if you keep bending over for the Muzzies, you’ll be the last ones killed?
I read the gist of it, and I am DELIGHTED with this campaign.
I planned on hitting the pro-Muslim ads of a year ago with a black magic marker and writing “Sharia = kill rape victims” but never got the chance.
This is better :) We MUST fight fire with fire, we MUST take the offense.
Which is most likely what the people who put out the ads want. Read the article and think.
If you control the language, you control the thought.
Hate speech and political correctness are nothing more than a means of thought control.
Headline writers are paid to increase ratings. They do not care one whit about truth, relating to the article, grammar, or even making sense.
Allah is BS make believe.
Or
All Muslims are bloodthirsty terrorists and want to kill you!!!!!
Or
Mohammad was a criminal pedophile.
Or
Islam is a religion that enslaves and tortures women. Why do the good people of this world allow Islam to exist?
