All other employment stats are amenable to all sorts of statistical and political jiggery-pokery. This one doesn't lie.
As you can see, it fell off the table when Obama got elected and hasn't been able to get up since.

Only one employment stat has any real value. That is the Employment-population ratio. As you can see, it fell off the table when Obama got elected... Actually, a closer look reveals that the ratio began to fall off right after the Democrat takeover of Congress in early 2007. It was already in free fall when Obama arrived in Washington.
That said, he's done nothing but strengthen that trend.
