There seems to be a pattern here that creates a very strong message if anyone can read it.
All of this seems to be Netanyahu saying to obama that the bond between Israel and America is strong and HE is not part of it. The bond is strong in SPITE of him. With the addition of this ice sculpture, the symbolism, even if it was not intentional, is that obama will melt away and Israel’s bond with America will still be standing, still be strong, long after he is gone.
Now while the PM has a sortid history of inexcusable and inexplicable compromise, there has always been something unusual in the air concerning him.
That is, the Netanyahu household has a history of literally being filled with the Word of the Lord.

I have played music at many functions that had a magnificent ice sculpture as the centerpiece on the table.
5 hours and many songs later, I was exhausted, but still intact.
The Ice sculpture...on the other hand...was melted so that all the details and beauty was gone.

With that kind of omen, Ice City/Jerusalem should expect to suffer from a major power outage and/or heat wave right after they carve the obama idol.
