Sen. Frank Lautenberg Says He Wont Seek Re-election In 2014 February 14, 2013 3:32 PM
WASHINGTON (CBSNewYork) Senator Frank Lautenberg announced Thursday that he will not seek re-election in 2014.
I will be traveling to my hometown of Paterson tomorrow to announce that I will not seek re-election in 2014, Lautenberg said in a statement. This is not the end of anything, but rather the beginning of a two-year mission to pass new gun safety laws, protect children from toxic chemicals, and create more opportunities for working families in New Jersey.

Who will replace him? Robert “The Torch” Torricelli?
Hahaha
I agree. He has already done enough damage.
How do we replicate his plan and action for the rest of the Senate?
I’m amazed that Lautencadaver’s reanimated corpse lasted this long. He retired once, then the commiecrats dragged him back for some reason. Lautencadaver is leftist big government scum and I hope his second retirement is a very short one.
He never should have been allowed to run in the first place. A RAT candidate had to drop out and constituionally it was past the deadline to replace him. The RATS went to the Jersey SC and they let him run because “the people need a choice”. Hows that for a judicial rationale? Without the lout being elected we wouldnt have had Obamacare. Too bad the Repubs just rolled over on challenging his eligibility.
If the NJ Dems need him, they’ll dig him up in 2016 and “un-retire” Lautenberg again.
The old some beach retired once but it didn’t take, maybe this time he will die before the low information voters in New Jersey vote his moldy old butt back in.
The Republicans roll over to the Democrats so often and so easily that one would get the idea that the Republicans and Democrats are actually working together.
Reelection????? Really, this old feeble senile codger criminal should be seeking self-commitment.
Years ago I worked for the man as but one of over a thousand salesmen. He always delivered the key-note speech at ADP’s annual President’s Club confab. He could drone on and on with boring speeches longer than anyone I have since met. I can only imagine what it was like for his fellow senators.
“Cory Booker seems like a decent guy. Seem like the type you would want to have a beer or 5 with.”
He’d be a far better Senator than Lautenberg.
But far worse than someone like Mike Ferguson.
I don’t know of a case of anyone coming out of retirement twice in politics off the top of my head.
But I’m sure it’s happened in boxing, and then there’s Bret Favre.
The Senator with his senior aides.
