A six-day California manhunt ended Tuesday with rogue ex-cop Christopher Dorner apparently dying in a cabin fire on Bear Mountain.
One of many big questions to be answered is how the deadly fire was started.
Multiple unconfirmed audio clips appear to show police officers talking about burning down the cabin in which the alleged cop-killer was hiding.
Deliberately starting a fire, rather than waiting out the suspect, could be seen as an extreme measure.

In an unconfirmed video showing live footage from KCAL9 Los Angeles, officers are apparently caught in the background around the 20 second mark saying, "burn that f------ house down." It continues:
[Inaudible]
"Burn him out!"
"Get to him right now, f------ burn this motherf-----!"
Another unconfirmed video posted to YouTube of television coverage from CBS 2 captures officers apparently saying, "burn it down, burn it down ... get the gas." Another officer says, "yeah, burn it down." The exchange happens around the 1:24 mark:
The Guardian reports that journalist Max Blumenthal was listening to the police scanners, and live-tweeting the event.
On the scanners, Blumenthal reports hearing an exchange where the police talk about using "burners." The Daily Caller is reporting that is police slang for tear gas.
"All right, Steve, we're gonna go, we're gonna go forward with the plan, with the burner."
"Copy," is the response.
"We want it, like we talked about."
"Seven burners deployed and we have a fire," says the first voice.
"Copy. Seven burners deployed and we have a fire," responds a female voice.

Your post says otherwise.
Absolutely I approve of torching serial murderers who are out rampaging across the countryside. Do you want to place any bets that these are not Chris Dorners charred remains. How much do you want to bet?
The problem here is fear. Some people, if not a a LOT more, PREFER to live in fear.
I read something about how the people murdered by the Nazi’s always expected someone to save them. That they weren’t going to be murdered. And they died by the millions.
Blindly siding with the cops is the same mentality.
I in no way condone anything Dorner did or may have done. But when the police act with the same rabid abandon I’m going to speak out.
And that is the WHOLE FREAKING problem!
How many of these affirmative action morons are STILL in the force?
This isn't the days when the pool of officers was chosen from a moral and righteous law abiding citizenry.
The pool has been tainted by 40 years of government indoctrinated socialist thugs who could give a frack about your Constitutional rights.
This is not the days of Adam 12 and Joe Friday, and yet you don't understand why some here criticize the incessant corruption and malfeasance, then call them cop haters.
Shessh.
“I can see the Freeper hate_the_cops nutters are out in full force here”
I got a bad attitude when I saw the Toyota Tacoma (not Nissan Titan) with the one little old lady and the other paper carrier get shot up. Great shooting there boys. Congratulations! You’re looking for a 6ft 260lb black man and you shot a little old lady in the back. As for the other guy in the Honda truck, which also in no way resembled the suspects vehicle, well that one just didn’t bother me quite as much. Prolly cause he was at least black. Hey they all look the same, right?
And unfortunately even wacko - especially the diversity enabled - can become cops. Fortunately he was fired. Unfortunately, the firearm standards for most police forces having been lowered over the years (also largely due to divesity requirements) Dorner was not killed as quickly as he would have been years ago.
IF the cabin had an escape route in the basement as has been indicated then the question would be ..why didn’t he use it??
They should know by now whether it is Dorner or not by dental records
Can you use this on a charred up body??
You argue like a real leftist - you change the subject or case every time your arguement on the original subject or case colapses. Arr you sure your a libertaian and not a leftist?
He could have come out on his belly with his hands behind him.
He chose to die,-—Good.
I’m pretty sure it’s him. And, we’ll find out soon enough. But if it turns out not to be then the SHTF for sure.
No -- "burn him" would mean they were murderers.
But "burn him out" means they wanted to drive him out of his hiding place in the house. And that's what they were doing.
He wasnt fired for being a wacko.
Says the guy who has been changing the subject
Here is a valid question then. If a cop stops you in the street, draws his weapon and points at your head, do you have a legal right to do the same to defend yourself?
The answer "No" means that you are state property, and every state warden can execute you for any reason or for no reason. Hardly the land of the free; more like the land of the cattle.
The answer "Yes" means that the cop who drew upon you can now scream into his radio that he is under attack, and his buddies will then empty their weapons into you (or near you, as their accuracy permits.)
The answer "Yes" also creates the situation that you were asking about.
And the same phenomena, on even a larger scale, occurred at the hands of Stalin and then Mao. Funny that you didn't include them. Was that due to the blinders of a leftist education, or the self imposed censorship of a propagandist.
So what were the idiots attempting to do when they shot up the wrong truck and two women? Was that a simple attempt at an arrest?

Put down yr crack pipe. Two different situations and two different police forces not that you care. LAPD shot up the newspaper ladies while San Bernardino police “burned the mother down” and killed Chris Dorner
Once again>>>>> Do you care to place any large bets that this is not Dorners charred remains
I was just thinking that so long as the police are in the Human Barbecue business now, they ought to be properly outfitted.
(Do I need the < /sarc > tag this time? ;-) )
