Live Report
Dorner was summarily executed by fire.
That was the plan.
Constitution be damned.
I dont like this anymore than I liked Waco or Ruby Ridge.
They definitely had a ‘burn plan’. I heard them talking about executing the burn plan.
“...This is the question in my mind right now. Screw Dorner. He is not important, but the process is important. That is why it is enshrined in our constitution and the bill of rights.”
Dittoe!
*IF* the reports of deliberately burning down the cabin are true, Due Process had been eliminated. And we are walking a thin line to tyranny. Those who forget the past are bound to repeat it. Obama wants a civilian army just a large and powerful as the military.
“How Did Ordinary Germans Become Hitler’s Murderers in Nazi Germany?”
“Only a few days after Police Battalion 101 arrived in the Lublin District in Poland in November 2, 1943, their job, both in the Erntefest and in the Final Solution as a whole, was complete. From the beginning of their participation in the Nazi slaughter of Polish Jews in Jozefow on July 13, 1942, Police Battalion evolved from a fickle group of men who were too old for service in the military to cold-blooded killers who had a hand in the deaths of at least 83,000 war victims. [1] In just over a year, these so-called “ordinary men” had, for one reason or another, become an integral part of the Holocaust...”
(snip)”...This pressure came from the men themselves. Browning argues that one of the biggest factors that had the men of Battalion 101 participating in the Holocaust was the pressure of conformity. [11] The men were more worried about fitting in with their comrades and shouldering their part of the unsavory load than they were with upsetting anyone in a position of authority over them. Propaganda, Browning argues, was also a big part in how these men were transformed from sickened men with visible regret to murderous weapons of Himmler...”

Yes!
And Obama talking about how great Germany was sent a shiver down my spine last night!
So now the government and/or media mob gets to declare innocence and guilt without due process? The point is not whether the man was guilty or innocent. We are innocent until proven guilty in a ‘court of law’ for a reason.
Why not even attempt to just keep him surrounded? He wasn’t going anywhere.
No, he got Dornerd - the people in Waco were all innocent. This bastard was anything but.
I wasn't referring to his guilt or innocence. Fact is he got Waco'd.
Saying that Dorner got WAcod is tantamount to declaring him an innocent victim of government tyranny.
Government tyranny? In a way you're correct about the tyranny part.
Ya see, political correctness is a brutal murderer and has created severe cracks in the foundation of our society.
You probably missed it, but Dorner is a product of this.
It's the new politically correct LAPD, where they hire and train the mentally ill and totally unqualified just because they're minorities.
This is the "Sea change" the left is referring to.
Was he surrounded? I don’t think they even knew for sure.
To me the question is how many more innocent people needed to die just for the sake of bringing him in alive? He had no desire to be brought in alive, just to cause as much mayhem as he could as he went down.
I’m not in favor of burning buildings, but neither am I in favor of leaving LEOs stationed there as sitting ducks for Dorner to pick off.
And Obama talking about how great Germany was sent a shiver down my spine last night!
Chills...I didn’t even watch SOTU. Had no idea he had mentioned that.
Our governments have thousands of Dorners, and Loughners catalogued for future use. They’re drugged with Prozac or equivalent poisons that turn them into psychotic mass killers.
What do we do about it? - Seriously.
.
When we stand by and applaud this kind of extra judicial ‘justice’ by cops with vengeance foremost in their minds, instead of the rule of law, then we have truly lost our way. It is of course a very human reaction to the kind of evil that Dorner exhibited, but the job of our police is not to exact revenge, it is to uphold our constitution and the rule of law.
I was rooting for the police too, but not when they shoot at innocent civilians and burn down private property. Sorry.
Haahahahahhah....
yeah, now he’s known as “Been-one-Bob”.
(Only joke I could think of to match yours)

Reports were that they had almost 2000 law enforcers stationed in and around the area armed to the teeth. They had armored vehicles and were tearing down the walls of the cabin. It doesn’t sound like they were being ‘picked off’ once Dorner had holed up in the cabin. I understand what you and others are saying completely and cheered the cops on too. Just throwing these thoughts out too as food for thought. We have a regime that is acting outside of the law on every level of government right now. The fish rots from the head down..a cautionary tale.
Nothing...
They've poisoned the minds of the past two generations of kids in government public schools, who were taught by unionized government employees of the state that the founders were racist and portrayed white people as evil racist. Dorner saw racist around every corner. He was a paranoid lunatic and a product of the government's culture of corruption and political correctness.
It's the reason LAPD hires the mentally ill and totally unqualified, and the reason why our electoral process has been undermined, compromised and the reason why the brainwashed masses are electing people like Obama.
So far, all we know is that they obviously burned someone to a crisp, whether it is Dorner or another paperboy, we’ll find out later.
Well said.
Nice rant bump! Even my sweet hubby and I had a mini argument over this crap last night. My only point last night and this morning is a concern for our rights enshrined in our constitution and the actions of the LAPD over the last week i.e. shooting at civilians in cars and burning down private property in an act more of revenge than the rule of law.
The scanner traffic regarding the orders to ‘burn’ was not meant for the public.
Anyone care to guess when they are going to outlaw scanners, such as they are (I believe) in some jurisdictions?
