LOL! This just has to be satire. Not even the low-information voters could be this confused. (I know, I’m giving them a HUGE benefit of the doubt, but still.)

The original letter reads like the comments on the local paper’s forum from what I call “the usual suspects”. These are the commenters that show up daily to provide their anti-God, anti-gun, anti-Republican, anti-freedom, etc. responses to various articles or letters to the editor. I jump in to give responses that balance the scales somewhat but it just gets tiresome. I’m constantly amazed at the number of lib-progs in northeast OK.

But because the Constitution was written a hundred years ago, nobody even thought of the discrimination that would result from a doctor having to deliver a baby in this unnatural way. A hint for the genius: The "C" in C-section stands for Caesarian. The procedure has been around for a very long time.

What's the history of the newspaper? Some local papers are not radically leftist and will publish a genuine letter that makes a leftist Democrat look stupid, while the usual far leftist rags will edit it or suppress it altogether.
Still, I don't know of any print rag that would knowingly publish a letter satirizing Useful Idiot DemoRats.

... that more modern way of living I think C.S. Lewis called this the "chronology fallacy." Just because some practice arose after another, the former is not automatically superior to the latter.
It seems very obvious, but people make this error all the time, even in conservative circles. "The Church is behind the times..." But it's endemic on the Left, because of Hegel's historicism and their embrace of evolutionary theory.

Most of my immediate family - for reasons that still elude me - moved to Carteret County after I left home four decades ago. The society there has, quite frankly, cornered the market on low IQs and (to the extent they think at all) on non-critical thought. It’s an ongoing reality show of the worst sort. Even the gorgeous scenery along the coast is constantly obstructed by Guinness Book of World Record “Fattest Person” contenders.
My closest relatives there all dropped like flies almost in unison about two years ago, leaving behind offspring mixed with the local gene pool that have either wisely moved away, or landed in prison, so I doubt I’ll be back.
