When given the opportunity to rebut the sharp criticism leveled Tuesday by Brent Bozell directed at Karl Rove, Jonathan Collegio of Rove's American Crossroads might have made things worse, if not personal. "Bozell is a hater and he also has a long sordid history hating Karl Rove. He has weird personal axes to grind," said the spokesman for Rove's influential Super PAC.

Who is this Bozell? It seems I should know about or have heard of this person! Am I having a “senior moment?”
These people are just beyond stupid. Look at the bio from this “wizard of smart:”
Award-winning public affairs and communications executive, political party spokesman, public speaker and political commentator, Jonathan Collegio is director of communications for American Crossroads, the preeminent conservative 527 political campaign organization in Washington DC. Collegio serves as chief spokesperson and grassroots, online and media strategist for the organization.
They forgot to add “out of touch jack ass, with a rather pedestrian IQ”
Brent Bozell. Media Research Center founder. Newsbusters... CNS News... MRC annual Dishonor Awards... I’m sure there’s more that I can’t think of on an empty stomach (supper’s cooking, I’m starved).
Oh, and nephew of Wm F. Buckley.
A Karl Rove aide ranks a bit lower in my book that an aspiring rapper and a poodle with the clap.
NOW! Excise Rove NOW! Everyone!
Yes, you are having a lapse of memory... Brent Bozell

Anyone against Backstabber Rove, protector of Soros
and the Romney Agendae sounds like a relative winner.
Don’t address the criticism. Just call your critic weird and move on. You are awesome.
Now shut up Karl.

Brent Bozell: “John McCain made a bold choice
in not merely picking a woman, but picking a pro-life woman
courageous enough to put her motherhood
where her mouth is. Now the media want him to pay dearly
for it. The idea that they would lecture anyone
else about rumor-mongering or “Swift-boating”
ought to be laughed off the public stage.”
By contrast, Tokyo Rove attacked Gov. Palin and her
children. These vicious attacks, led by
Rove and Romney-the-meek (except against women)
put Obama into power.
Brent Bozell is a conservative and a good guy but I always see him as too old school for the politics/campaigns these days.
Not in his principles or convictions but in his method.
Look at the way Media Matters does it: A Republican says something questionable, let alone foolish or objectionable, and MM and the Dems pour the coals of hell on the guy (or especially on the gals) for a month straight.
When Scarborough or Rove or one of the leftists creates some sickening lie about a conservative candidate, Bozell’s tactic is to go on Hannity, replay the smear and then joke and protest a bit about how unfair it is.
As I say I appreciate Bozell and he’s a workhorse. But the Breitbart people seem to realize that we are in a war here, and the other side wants America to lose.
If we want any of this to make a difference, in the event that America survives Obama’s new “flexibility”, we need to work on making it impossible to steal an election. That’s all that matters at this point - not the people who vote but the people who count the votes.
2008 was a coup and 2012 was stolen. Sure, the PR stuff can try to keep an election from being close enough to be stolen, but as long as we’ve got the 47% voting for their sugar-daddy the vote is going to be close enough to steal. IIRC it’s something like 5-6 percentage points we have to be ahead by, in order for the gap to be insulated from voting theft.
OK , what the hell is a “hater” , I guess I am one since I’m not a flaming lib .. but what exactly is meant by this supposed putdown?
Bozell has been fighting to get broadcast time for decades until FNC came along.
To understand how much the MSM must hate Bozell, just look at how they treated Reed Irvine and Accuracy In Media (AIM) during the 1980s and 1990s. I recall wathing the Nightline round-tables back then when Ted Koppel would have Irvine in the audience only to mock him when he went to the microphone to ask a question of the panel.
