Super Bowl XLVII, February 3rd, 2013 New Orleans Mercedes Benz Dome, CBS-TV, Westwood One radio, 630pm EST
Baltimore Ravens v San Francisco 49ers (-4.5, O/U 47.5)
I’m with both of you. I’m a total green and yellow, loyal forever Packer Fan. I just said to someone this AM here in frosty, snowy, gorgeous Wisconsin that we really don’t care, but hoped they would tie so neither one can say they won. I’m still hacked off the Packers didn’t try harder to beat that Kap7 lucky for a short time QB. QB’s cannot run the ball forever and get away with it. But they sure are right now! Go figure. Some Quirk and the Ray Lewis. YES, he’s another OJ - for sure. Disgusting. We need more Donal Driver types and less like Lewis.
No..... I’m with ya Steeler fan et al.!!
Yep.... we’re watching. Wouldn’t miss it.

Let’s go Ravens.
Beat Peyton in Denver.
Beat Brady in Boston.
Time to beat Kaepernack in New Orleans.
The Thug Bowl.
First half Ravens, second half 49ers.
And btw, I *hate* the 49ers, so it pains me to say that.
Basically though, it’s more fun watching the Super Bowl, because as a Lions fan, I never have a dog in this particular hunt, and can just enjoy watching the two best teams go at it. I watched a good bit more of the 49ers this year than I would ordinarily stand for, and wondered who would stop them from getting to XLVII — turned out, no one could.
Pete Rose lied, no one died. /sarc.
Go 9ers!!!
I want both teams to lose. A killer is on one side and the other is a formerly beautiful city that is now the degenerate capital of the country.
Pulling for Harbaugh! Also, pulling for the local kid...Ray Lewis!
Recovery Monday!
Major celebrations or holidays should not be allowed to happen on any Sunday or any day that has a work day the next day!
Call it a vacation or PTO day if you know your going to get whack drunk and stay up all hours. At least arrange for the day off.
Calling in at 7am would piss me off entirely if I’m the boss.
My husband doesn’t have to get up early tomorrow for the first time in years. Thanks to The O, he and every one else where he worked lost their job on Friday.
Based on the photos above, I’m rooting for the 49ers. But it’s a close call, and I might shift teams with more evidence of which is the better team.
I will not watch overpaid cry babies and the ghetto-fication of America, inappropriate commercials and a most likely disappointing, unAmerican half-time performance.
Gotta cheer for the least leftist team in this one. While Baltimore is not a true American city, SF is even further down the list.
I’m not sure which team has the fewest zerobama zombies, I tend to think it may be the Ravens.
I just hope when they build the statue of Ray Lewis in downtown Baltimore they put him in the proper uniform
...A orange prison jumpsuits...
