On the first day of Black history month, policy experts analyzed the current economic state of Black Americans during a summit at Howard University. One featured participant said President Obama, does not deserve a pass anymore regarding confronting Black issues head on and asked that the President summon his courage and find his voice on economic inequality in America.

There has been discussion on what some refer to as a cone of silence over the Obama presidency regarding issues dealing with race and racial disparities in America. The Washington Monthly magazine featured Obama and race on their front cover in January.

I think that the concept of the change we have been waiting for refers to what was most likely to happen in the second term. Things like Occupy Wall Street are indications that unless there is a mobilization outside of the Black community the possibility of getting the change weve been waiting for is limited, Morris, who teaches a course in Black politics, added.

The Great Divider’s plan is nearing completion.
Why, oh why, won’t intelligent and reasoning black Americans learn their folly in continuing to support Democrats? It’s so damned sad. I guess comfortable lies are just easier than uncomfortable truths (like admitting I’ve been very wrong about something for a long time).
“President Obama does not deserve a pass anymore
So tell us, for how long did he deserve a pass, and why?
DUH!-mocracy in action.
That’s the problem. They think he hasn’t gone leftist enough. They want Mugabe or nothing!
TOO LATE!!!
So the only reason he doesn’t get a pass is because the bag of gifts that Santa brings is too small.
This is not an indictment of Obama, but a pep talk to distribute even more.
The tide is not yet ready to turn, because there is still some sinew on the carcass to be eaten.
Thanks Libloather.
Meanwhile, the African is going to do some networking with Somalian jihadists.
Reparations — be careful what you wish for.
Twin Cities don’t need Obama’s gun speech. Chicago does.

Ha! They will be his buttlickers FOREVER.
Who do they think they’re fooling??
“Interesting comments after the end of the article.”
I’ve noticed that about most internet “news” stories. The so called professionals who are paid to write can barely utter a coherent sentence, while many of the commentators are brilliant yet don’t receive a penny.
This caused me to laugh out loud. Next thing we will hear that Colin Powell voted for Obama for some reason other than color.
The problem's right here. "waiting for change", waiting for other people to come in and change your situation. Make your own change, dammit. That's the only way you will improver your situation.
Our Constitutional Republic was a grand idea;
a noble and fragile experiment
in Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness.
We are now too far down
Marxism-socialisms free stuff slope,
to stop the descent into madness and collapse.
Its not the fall that will kill us;
its the sudden stop at the bottom.
America - a great idea while it lasted.
What, you mean you wanted your standards of living raised?
“Hey, he is doing his level best to drive non-black incomes and standards of living down to the level of blacks.”
Blacks’ standard of living is falling even further; what a marginalized group. Until they are held to the same standards as whites in terms of education and job performance, they will always have a child-like dependence on the government to feed, clothe, and house them. The schooling doesn’t even merit mention; the resistance to merit-based pay and vouchers harkens back to a time when it was illegal to teach a slave to read or write (and has achieved the same result).
Apparently they never asked Obama’s former constituents in Illinois what he did for them as a State senator...
Why would anyone ever deserve a pass?
No surprise that he would initially GET a free pass from Black racists due exclusively to the color of his skin.
We hear a great deal in the popular media about White racism; it’s little reported, however, that Black racism is even more pervasive and far more intense.
We want mo free stuff.
We want mo free stuff.
Any MORE???
He never DID!
