W.H. Releases Photo of Obama Shooting a Gun

This morning, the White House released a photo of President Obama shooting a gun:

I double wish he'd go hunting with Cheney. I will never forget the look Cheney gave obozo at the 2008 Presidential Inauguration, as Bush was hugging obozo, and obozo’s gaze was fixed on Cheney who was standing near, and the look and silent message that Cheney was sending obozo, as if to say, “I know who and what you are.” I am very proud of Cheney and his daughter, a great conservative, who never holds back when commentating on obozo and his socialist ideology.

It appears to be an O/U that is ported. This is a common practice in skeet, trap and sporting clays. It has a what appears to be a factroy recoil pad indicating that it’s not used very much. One problem is that porting would produce smoke from both sides of the barrell and I’m not sure of the vertical angle of the smoke. If he’s shooting at a clay target on a skeet field, he’s pointing way too low. This photo will likely raise more questions from Freepers who do shoot the clay target sports. My guess is that they gave him a shotgun and took a posed picture.

Whatever is at the end of the barrel looks metallic. There is no blur, so I assume it is not the projectile.

What type of camera would be necessary to freeze the action of a shotgun discharge to capture the projectile? Shutter speed?

In a very controlled enviornment that is possible. This is outdoors and appears adhoc.

It is (if real) one frame of a very high speed camera series that could also display the charge leaving the muzzle.

Such a camera is used on Myth Busters to display shooting results. It appears as slow motion

The attachment at the end of the barrel looks like brass to me. Not yellow plastic.

I know there are cameras that freeze motion, but 1500 fps is pretty fast.

If I could do photoshop, I would insert a shotgun strapped to his back as he peddles that “metrosexual” bicycle while wearing his mom-jeans.

You are right. I’d say Obama is not much of a skeet or trap shooter. He also is not leaning into the gun the way he should be for the skinny effer he really is.

In my humble opinion. . the photo is fake. . .it has been photoshopped. The photo of Obama holding a gun is masked on top of the photo of Camp David and the gun smoke. . which was probably coming from a gun fired in the Camp David photo that now has Obama masked on top. If you zoom in closely. . .you can see pixel noise around the Obama with gun image. . .this would not appear if it were one image. . . .what a fraud.
