Tunes For The Troops

**Artist Showcase**
So...I saw a show on HBO called *Paul Williams Still Alive* & I guess I had forgotten what a talented man he is. I wasn't able to garner much of his collective works but I hope you enjoy what is posted here.

Paul Hamilton Williams, Jr. (born September 19, 1940 is an Academy Award-winning American composer, musician, songwriter, and actor. He is perhaps best known for popular songs performed by a number of acts in the 1970s including Three Dog Night's "An Old Fashioned Love Song", Helen Reddy's "You and Me Against the World", David Bowie's "Fill Your Heart", and the Carpenters' "We've Only Just Begun" and "Rainy Days and Mondays", as well as his contributions to films such as "Evergreen" from A Star Is Born and "Rainbow Connection" from The Muppet Movie. He has also had a variety of high-profile acting roles such as Little Enos Burdette in the highly successful 1977 action-comedy Smokey and the Bandit, and as the villainous Swan in Brian De Palma's Phantom of the Paradise (which Williams also co-scored, receiving an Oscar nomination in the process), as well as television, theater, and voiceover work for animation.

Enjoy the variety of musical selections that the Canteen Deejays provide throughout the thread. Please ping any DJ with your requests for the Troops!

All music is removed on Monday.
Thanks to all the DeeJay's for their time & effort providing entertainment for the Troops!

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!

Praise God the Father who’s the source;
Praise God the Son who is the course;
Praise God the Spirit who’s the flow;
Praise God, our portion here below!

I am so happy for you. I will continue to pray for custody to be awarded in the best interest of that precious little boy!!!!

I’m up, I’m up!! Just finished several hours of garage time with my folks. Now a few minutes for me, then parental errands, deliveries to Salvation Army, and bringing home their “Thursday Night Out” repast. I warned them it would be on Saturday while I was out.

Hope you are having a good day, and all pain is being managed. *HUGS*

Not bad...in the low 60s. Almost too warm for February and supposed to get up to the 70s this week.

I think we’re in for a very long hot summer...again.....
