:: driving through Jefferson County New York when he was randomly pulled over for a vehicle check ::
I’ll take “Probable Cause” for $500, Alex.
These type of arrests are going to the SC eventually.
Well, I certainly feel safer already...
Thank you democrats and liberals!
Cops should know better than to arrest folks for brandishing an unloaded magazine.
They have found their example.
Were they just laying out on the seat? If so, you would think that with all the recent publicity about that specific thing, he would have them in a case or bag or something.
Anyone from there know what these random vehicle checks include?
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." - U.S. Constitution. Amendment IV
We allowed "Sobriety Checkpoints" for safety's sake. It was just a short step from there to "random vehicle checks". Both were just veiled excuses for unconstitutional fishing expeditions.
When can we start randomly checking LEOs and elected officials?
5.56mm
And so it begins, the criminalization of honest citizens while felons remain unaffected. Time for the NRA and other gun support groups to step in and prove their worth!
Do you mind if we search your vehicle?
Yes sir I do mind, show me your warant.
We need to support this guy and others in commieland.
With our lives if necessary.....
Were those mags pre-94 or new ones. I think the possession of pre 94 mags is ok until Apr 15 this year or January of next (cant remember).
In a working America, checks and balances working as intended, this would go to the Supreme Court, where New York's "random vehicle checks" and anti-gun laws would both be struck down as unconstitutional under the fourth and second amendments.
In Obama's America, with Sotomayor, Kagan, the newly turned-to-the-dark-side Roberts, and the other tyranny-enabling justices on the court, we're probably screwed.
What makes this even more outrageous is that Jefferson County is where Fort Drum is located - home of the US Army Mountain Division.
“randomly pulled over for a vehicle check.”
What means “vehicle check”????
Is this supposed to be some “safety check”?
Or, is this a 4th Amendment violation of search and seizure?
RULE 4: Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
And so it begins.
There is no limit as to how far these fascists plan to push the American people. Is there a limit as to how far the people will allow themselves to be pushed?
Sadly, IMO, as long as they don’t go too fast, the people will allow it to proceed until too late.
The opening chapter of Joseph P. Martino’s recent masterpiece, Resistance to Tyranny, makes the clearest case I’ve seen yet as to where this sort of stuff comes from and where it almost inevitably leads. Lucid, highly documented info throughout the book, but the first chapter is the best wake-up call and best education I’ve seen yet about these sorts of events and what they portend.

“he was randomly pulled over for a vehicle check.”
Don’t forget this little gem.
