Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Fox News Channel are parting ways, according to a report in Real Clear Politics. After three years as a paid contributor for the channel, FNC and the former Republican vice presidential nominee have decided to cut ties.
A source close to Palin told Real Clear Politics that it was the governors decision not to renew their contract.
*Its my understanding that Gov. Palin was offered a contract by FOX, and she decided not to renew the arrangement, the source close to Palin told RCP. She remains focused on broadening her message of common-sense conservatism across the country and will be expanding her voice in the national discussion.

Palin is out because LIBERAL Colin Bowell-movemenbt called her a racist. Fox has offered Colin Bowell-movement a job.
Faux News is the RINO channel. Sarah Palin should never agree to any type of interview again on that network. They are disgusting.
Who you think knows more about guns, Sarah Palin or Mr. Affirmative Action Colin Bowell-movement? I guarantee you this old liberal ain’t fired a weapon since qualifying with an M-16 40 years ago. He sat on his fat ass when he came back from Nam, letting republicans give him every promotion in the world, this the sorry SOB stabbed them in the back. No use at all for the American face of affirmative action gone wrong.
Fox turned left some time ago.
Maybe Fox can bring back Rove and Uncle Family Values Bennett.

When did Palin “quit due to the press”? If you think that is the reason she quit, you must be one of Obama’s low information people.
From your keyboard, to God's monitor.
Well stated. Sarah is a brilliant woman. Sarah leaving Faux news is a good sign. Having read her books and studied her over the years, I can envision her entry back into politics.
As the 2014 elections approach, if Sarah becomes very involved by campaigning in person for a good number of Conservatives, then you can take it to the bank that Sarah will be testing the waters to see how the electorate responds.
Sarah will be helping elect Conservatives, but also testing her viability.
If she is strongly received, then no doubt Sarah will make a move to run for President.
She will out flank the GOP-e by gathering the support of Conservative office holders currently in office and those elected in 2014. The GOP-e will be aware of her intentions long after she already will have built unstoppable momentum.
She will have a tough fight on her hands, but I know she will truly relish taking on the GOP-e.
Again the key to her strategy will be the necessity of a firestorm of grassroot support early on.
Then again, she may become less visible in the public eye, concluding that the Republic is too far gone to stop the Socialist transformation.
Sarah Palin is the only human being I know of who could stand in front of a camera with her hand on her hip, utter ONE word, ANY word, and the entire media would wrap a story around it that would reverb for days with rampant speculation about what she actually meant.
I am serious.
Did that back in August and haven't looked back. Nothing but OTA (over-the-air) TV here and some ROKU thrown in.
Amen!
Watching Hannity's DC special about the Ruling Class. Don't usually watch FoxNews, but this is a good expose on how our elected representatives produce nothing but record debts and yet have the largest Maserati dealership and richest counties in the country...on our tax $$.
Sarah puts every stinkin' one of them to shame. Please, Sarah, run the rats/Ruling Class outa DC!!
How? Back on the bus or via Alaska Public Access TV?
Evidently we have some low information voters here on Freerepublic.com as well...
Oh scratch that.
(duh)
Excellent! I’ll be damned if I am going to finance the likes of Ed Schultz, Maddow, Matthews and the rest...
what difference does it make?
sarah v hillary
If she is going all in (and won’t tease or quit) to run for the GOP third party in 2016, that would be great.
Otherwise, she and her hopeful followers will just suck all the air out of the process, demoralize and weaken conservatives.
After seeing the gross rot she has been subjected to via both parties and the whole political establishment, I would not blame her if she did not run for office again. I just hope she does not lead people on again.
