The New Mexico 15-year-old accused of fatally shooting his parents and three innocent siblings constantly wore camouflage gear, neighbors said after the murders rocked the tiny town in the outskirts of Albuquerque.
Nehemiah Griego was "fairly quiet, not real rowdy that we could tell,” neighbor Jerry Crites told
CBS affiliate KRQE in Albuquerque. “He seemed to be just a normal kid walking up and down the road.”

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department says Griego used multiple weapons, including a military-type assault rifle, when he allegedly gunned down his family Saturday night in rural South Valley, just outside Albuquerque.
Cops say he shot his pastor dad, Greg Griego, 51; his father's wife Sara Griego, 40; and three of their children: a 9-year-old boy, Zephania Griego, and daughters Jael Griego, 5, and Angelina Griego, 2.

Why is it significatn he was home schooled? Just for the ‘wow’ factor or was it truly an important element?

I was going to say the same thing. “Homeschooled” right in the title as if it is one of the most important elements of the crime. See, those home-schooling wackos are producing homocidal kids. Its playing on prejudice to sell papers, pure and simple.

If wearing camo and carrying guns means you are a killer, than our entire community would be dead. And I’m not referring to the military community. We live in rural NC.
