These are available from botachtactical in Los Angeles. They have a few 60 Round Magazines left for those of you that need one.
Good Luck
I actually have one of these I bought from CTD I think about 6-8 months ago.....accounts in print said it performed well -— reports on the 100 round version were not so good. They run $100+ Probably more now if you can find one.
Interesting. How does the follower work? Or are there two followers?
Actually the guts are a little complicated when they neck out to the triple width....I have an instruction sheet about what to do when taking it apart, but I haven’t fired it yet nor thought about taking it apart...
Must take $100 to load it.
The only AR mag left at my favorite gun shop was a single one of these. Darn thing was $199!
IMO, there is a reason why the military uses the 30rd mag. I believe it is the sweet spot between weight and efficiency. No doubt that DARPA thought of mag size long ago and settled on 30rds for the 5.56.
CTD now has some of the AR-15 double banked Beta Mags (100+ rounds) for ONLY $699.95.......mostly plastic....I remember seeing these for sale under $200. A 30 round COLT manufactured factory mag is selling for $129.......outrageous....
anybody know where i canfind a magazine for a floridafirearms ag galesi .25 cal pocket gun?
Also, a 30 rnd mag fails, and you pop it out and put it another. You just lost at most 30 rounds.
A 100 rnd mag fails, and 3 30 rnd mags of ammunition in your loadout is now out of the fight.

Time to switch to weapons that use belt feed ammo.
I like the way you think. Such weapons have no magazine at all.
It took $100.00 to load it yesterday... today it is $200.00!

Try Numrich arms in NY. I couldn’t find your mag online but call them, they have it if anyone this side of Italy has it.
PS: yesterday's visit to the local gun store noted ONE Mini 14 and zero AR clones, guess I'm not the only local who believes the mini to be less that desirable.
Oh, there were about 30 people lined up at the counter looking to buy just about anything on the shelves.

Yes. Other reasons include ergonomics of handling and using the weapon. The British even had a top loading magazine on their Bren guns so that they could lay closer to the ground while firing. In the early portion of WWII our Marines were issued Johnson light machine guns with the magazine inserted on the side, similar to the British Sten gun.
I fired Bren guns while I was in Army Cadets and Reserves (Canada). I had some trouble with the sights on the Bren, which are offset to the left; because my left eye is dominate.
Weird. They are based in KahLeeFawNeeYuh.
We can’t have mags more than 10 rounds thick but they can sell them?
