Few things grab the public’s attention like a celebrity-backed boycott, protest, or backlash against a specific brand or company. Today, Wendy’s and Taco Bell find themselves on the wrong end of just this sort of upheaval.
Roughly 100 Wendy’s employees in the Omaha, Nebraska area will have their weekly schedules reduced to 28 hours a week so that they will no longer qualify for the health care benefits that “Obamacare” mandates for full-time employees. A Taco Bell in Guthrie, Oklahoma enacted a similar policy.
Even though these underhanded approaches seem unique to these specific franchises, the backlash against the Wendy’s and Taco Bell corporations has been swift.
Celebrities like Castle star Nathan Fillion and comedian Sarah Silverman voiced their outrage via Twitter, and many people pledged to avoid not just those specific locations, but all restaurants owned by the chains in question.

When will there be a backlash against the entertainment industry for supporting a government that undermines the Constitution?
When these cuts businesses make to survive the government go into full swing, the left is going to have to boycott everywhere.
Liberals are mostly quiet in Texas but knowing even fewer will be out and about in places I go would thrill me! I guess they need to eat in soup kitchens to avoid folks wanting to make money off their businesses.
Dang! I loved that show “Castle”...not anymore...I can’[t watch movies or shows once the stars come out with Lib stuff. I don’t see their TV character anymore, just a reminder of their Lib outbursts. It ruins the show or movie for me.
I will, of course take time to let ‘Castle’s” sponsors and station know WHY I won’t be watching anymore.
The PERFECT solution. Issue a press release that says they are NOT going to be cutting hours. Hurray. BUT that dollar menu you love? Sorry we can’t afford to only charge that anymore.instead of 2 tacos for a $1; it’s now $6. Instead of a Big Mac Meal costing $5 it will now be $12. Watch the liberal kneejerks mouths drop to the floor. Stick it to ‘em hard. Meanwhile special lowered pricing for conservatives and Tea Party members if you know the special code...LOL

Another subset of nobodies are obscure "Republican strategists" who abound on TV shows and obscure TV "political consultants" who also are nobodies.
These nobodies bear important-sounding titles just like obscure "celebrities" do.....but the titles are generally self-applied or applied by their agents to hide the fact that the obscure bearers don't have steady jobs or are out of work completely.

Just got back from Wendy’s — used coupon for free homestyle chicken sandwich when you buy a fry and drink. It was very good.
I don't know or care who Nathan Fillion is, and only vaguely think I know who comedian Sarah Silverman is.... but to both of them or any other "celebrities" who are now against Wendys or Taco Bell, I say to them... F__K OFF and TOO LATE! The business reaction to 0dumb0shitCare is for businesses to layoff & downsize in order to remain both cost & profit competitive! Good job leftie celebrity dorks!!! You're taking it in the ass again!
