LOGANVILLE, Ga. —A woman hiding in her attic with children shot an intruder multiple times before fleeing to safety Friday.
The incident happened at a home on Henderson Ridge Lane in Loganville around 1 p.m. The woman was working in an upstairs office when she spotted a strange man outside a window, according to Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman. He said she took her 9-year-old twins to a crawlspace before the man broke in using a crowbar.
But the man eventually found the family. "The perpetrator opens that door. Of course, at that time he's staring at her, her two children and a .38 revolver,"

I’ve seen pictures of what happens to ‘mean’ when these things hit. It is utterly nasty. A big gaping bleeding hole, and no fragements for a doctor to remove to speak of. The compressed powder disperses thoughout the wound.

Senator Feinstein: Please read this report and then be honest and tell the whole country that this woman didn’t need a gun to defend herself and her children. She deserved to own a gun to protect her family just as you did when your life was threatened. What on earth made you think you were any different from the millions of other people in this country who need to protect themselves from criminals?
I’ll be interested in learning your answer to that question. A neighbor in our county who shot and killed an intruder in her home in the spring of 2011 would also like an answer to that simple question. She was in her shower when she was attacked by an intruder and had presence of mind enough to grab a gun and empty it into the creep! What makes anyone’s life worth less than yours?

So? They were the hot items to ban back in the 1970s. They will be hot again if a AW ban passes.
It has always been about handguns. Assault rifles are just a decoy to try and get their anti-gun foot in the door.
Once they get a ban on AWs then they will use the same reasons to go after handguns.

What do they all have in common? NONE over 7 rounds, yet after each one came a cry of panic to ban them.

My guess is that he will sue her—he’s a member of the entitlement, obamaphone club and had been released from prison not long ago.
Not necessarily target rounds. Each shooting is unique. There are reports of criminals soaking up a dozen police 9mm hollow point rounds and still fighting. There are also documented cases of perps being shot in the head with a 45 Auto and still being a threat, as well as some taking at least one round of 12 ga 00 buck center of mass and still shooting back.
My home defense round is a 38sp wadcutter loaded to max 38 sp velocity. It will do the job.
This woman was trying to protect herself and her children, she did just fine, mission accomplished.
“This women could have easily called the police and had them take care of this instead of brandishing a dangerous firearm, which only made the house a target to start! Way to turn an otherwise safe home into a wild west shootout!”
You think like me. I would have posted something very similar on their site, if possible. I also would have called her an idiot for being home during the day without an armed guard.
People need to better understand the gun-grabbers.
