School Obama's Daughters Attend Has 11 Armed Guards

Some interesting news has broken in the wake of the latest push for gun control by President Obama and Senate Democrats: Obama sends his kids to a school where armed guards are used as a matter of fact.

The school, Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, has 11 security officers and is seeking to hire a new police officer as we speak.

If you dismiss this by saying, "Of course they have armed guards -- they get Secret Service protection," then you've missed the larger point.

The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC's David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren't used (and weren't even allowed).

Just this past week a liberal/Marxist idiot defended government kiddie prisons ( oops! “schools”) by saying, “ Children need to learn how to get along with all kinds of people.”

Well?...Here's a question:

If Obama, Kerry, McCain, Kennedy, Romney and the kids of the other elites don't need to learn to get along with every dysfunctional cultural class in America, why should my homeschoolers have to? Huh?

Anyway.....This is just one more example of why what is good for the elites ( effective defense) is denied, by threat of armed police and court action, to the rest of us. And.....The extra salt rubbed into the wound is that citizens are under considerable police threat to **PAY** for these government kiddie prisons! ( opps! “school”) What an abomination!

In some ways real convicted felons are safer than our nation's kids in their gun free zones.

I just read this post to my husband. His quip: “Obama has been good for gun sales!”

Eliminate armed guards for the President, Vice-President, and their families, and establish Gun Free Zones around them

Gun Free Zones are supposed to protect our children, and some politicians wish to strip us of our right to keep and bear arms. Those same politicians and their families are currently under the protection of armed Secret Service agents. If Gun Free Zones are sufficient protection for our children, then Gun Free Zones should be good enough for politicians.

Thanks for posting that list and link. I would almost bet $100 that you can find a thread on DU that uses some obscure "fact" that they've dug up off the internet that "supports" a bizarre, convoluted "refutation" of the fact that Sidwell is guarded by armed officers. At the very least you'll find something that they believe justifies the hypocrisy.

You literally can't hammer them with facts. It's like trying to hammer a puddle of water.

Perhaps what is more interesting is that the Sidwell Friends School is a Quaker School, so their allowance of any armed defense could easily be argued against from their theological foundations. So even those who clamor to oppose the 2nd Amendment, have no problem with defending themselves.
